Rose Conservatory and Youth School of Liberation are looking for your support and donations in collecting recycled items. Youth SOL and Rose Conservatory youth leaders are currently working on an environmental justice initiative. Your donations will support our youth leaders in learning the importance of  community engagement, environmental justice, and teach them that change starts with them. All donations are welcomed and much appreciated!♻️

It’s the “fully youth led” for me!!!🤩

Our leaders put in work! It’s the “behind the scenes” that make everything happen.

Over the past year, we have partnered with to develop their students around concepts of community and justice. This summer they decided together to work on improving school food. Today, they held their first research meeting with our Food Justice team to learn about what we have been doing for the past two years. We are so excited for what these groups of leaders are going to accomplish together!

The Roses (youth at &rose Conservatory) have been mentored by Youth SOL’s youth mentors Trinity and Dainae. Today, Trinity coached these young Roses through their meeting with Youth SOL leader Micael. Not one person over 17 in the mix!!!!!! These young people are on fire!

It’s happening!!! After spending time learning how with , we put the first pieces down in our community garden today! Thanks to all those who came to help ❤️ and to Christ Congregational Church Brockton UCC for partnering/providing this space! And big shout out to our funders Boston Children’s Hospital and Grassroots Fund for making this possible!

This crew is EVERYTHING! Our Youth SOL leaders put on an amazing Community Dinner for Food Justice last night🤩 Thanks to our Food Justice partners and to our network and our community members who turned out. Thanks to our food donors M&M Seafood and and everyone who brought food to share and to our funder Boston Children’s Hospital for making it happen! reflecting on the last Brockton public school committee meeting at tonight’s Youth Sol Leaders meeting 🧠

Last month, Youth SOL leaders partnered with Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence to host our first Community Convos event at the Brockton public main library. This was an event created to invite the community into a communal healing space and share our struggles with gun violence, mental health, domestic violence, youth violence, and other issues impacting Brockton. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for sharing your stories with us.
