A very active guy, this will be his gift at the bridal shower for his fiancé. ❤️🧵🪡

This was two twin quilts.. both were very well used. I took the better squares and breathed new life into the whole quilt.. The end product is a queen size!! Resurrecting new life for this blanket !!🧵🪡☘️😃

I took an old falling apart antique quilt…. Apart.. then took out the “good ones”. .. made a throw quilt! Nice transition!🧵🪡👍

I have been meeting people for YEARS at odd places to give me their shirts for a quilt order. Typically the shirts are in boxes, rubber maid tubs, brown paper bags, trash bags. Yesterday’s entry.. all 45 shirts hung from hangers! Amazing care of this special collection of baseball shirts…. ( Stay tuned for results/ finished product!)

Ferry ride from Saint John NB to Digby NS, no whales, nice day anyway. History abound. Spent no less than 30 minutes at admiral Digby museum, could have been my Mom giving the tour, excellent ! Scallops for lunch. Craft beer brewed locally. Point of interest.. I walked from terminal to town( 3 miles +/-). Plan a ride! Cute place to visit.

On my august vacation…I took a LONG DRIVE through Down East Maine to New Brunswick…. The border control had a problem with the fact I travel with only exactly what I need( money, food,etc). They want to see me with $500 in hand. Jayzus! My hotel is paid, my ferry is paid. I have adequate food/ snacks. SERIOUS! The lady had me sweating, nervous as heck. Because I only carry X amount of money, they searched my car. Crazy people.

Please help pray for a change for me….

On one of the hottest days of the summer, I finish a queen size tshirt quilt, from the comfort of my air conditioned home!

The latest quilt... a boy graduating from HS ... His Dad passed when he was 5... Now upon HS graduation he gets a quilt of his Dad’s shirts. What an awesome idea. Best wishes in college, Miles!
