"Kitty was a special cat. I was drawn to her as soon as I saw her. Then we saw her story that she had been found in a basement where she had been locked in for 3 or 4 months. She was found when the person who purchased the house was going to do renovations. We were told she was malnourished when she was brought in. At the center they didnā€™t know how old she was but thought about 5, then when we took her to our vet they said she was older probably 8 or 9. She also had an issue with one of her paws. Kitty was our musical cat. She was the only one we had that whenever Dan said he was going to work on music, Kitty would be up in the studio the whole time. I had been looking for a younger cat 1 or 2 years old but she was the cat that responded to us. She chose us as it so often happens. When I brought Dan to meet her and we were in the room with her, she would go under my chair and I could coax her out then she would go under Danā€™s chair thatā€™s why I say she chose us. We had her for 6 years but we had to say goodbye to her a little while ago. Because we donā€™t exactly know how old she was, she could have been anywhere between 12 and 15."
