This week is our first blacklight painting class! This class will be held in our warehouse (off 81st & Elm) to allow for space, blacklight setup and air conditioning!

Here's how it works...our class is from 7-9pm. Wear paint clothes! You can bring a small piece of furniture to work on such as a nightstand OR you can work on the demonstration piece with me.

We will be painting with neon paints under blacklight as shown below. This is not a gray/white farmhouse paint class! 🤣

We will be using Daydream Apothecary paints during the class and they will be available to purchase after the class as well.

When you register, be sure to include your e-mail address and I will send you the address to our warehouse. IF you have registered for this class previously and haven't heard from me yet, please email me at [email protected] to get our warehouse address.

This is my kind of paint party! We're gonna party like we're in our mid-40s and our back hurts! 🤣

I've slowed down a little bit on custom orders since we are getting ready for our new store Funktified to open. But, here's a piece I just completed-it's being shipped to Oregon next week! This one looks so cool under the blacklight!

The painting has started for our Broken Arrow store Funktified! Our grand opening is planned for May 25th.

Aside from super funky home decor and gifts we also plan to offer furniture painting classes for those of you who would like to add a little flair to your home!

So the question has come up, what kind of store will we be?

WELL...for those of you who know us, you know we LOVE maximalism decor. Our home has been featured on KJRH with Julie Chin and went viral in the maximalism group here on FB.

We dubbed our style retro maximalism and that is the kind of home decor store we will be however, we will also have a bit of a twist in there too!

We have two other brands that will be featured in our store, Flowersfall Designs (this is my custom furniture painting) and FunkyBrims (this is our funky cap line). Both lines will be featured along with funky maximalism decor, out of the box gifts and specialty British items and some AMAZING art!

Our store is a store full of all the things we love!

And, by the way, "we" are Chris & Sarah. Chris is the attorney at Lopp Law Firm in Broken Arrow and Sarah (me) is an adjunct professor, furniture artist and yes, the former Money Saving Queen. ;-) Now, I am the QUEEN of funky and I'm coming to Main Street! Get ready, Rose District we're coming for you!

We are getting closer! We are planning to open early May and are getting ready to start interviewing for sales associates. If you'd like to apply, here is the info below:

-Full and part time available, the store hours will be 10-7pm (Monday - Saturday) and 12-5pm on Sunday.

We are looking for people who think outside of the box! This is a super funky, maximalist home decor and gift store so we need people that have an edge and can help other people style their home and buy gifts that are fun and different and are SUPER friendly (not Dutch Bros friendly but normal friendly). 😉

I know it's been a minute but we've been busy cleaning out my booth and getting everything ready for Funktified to open! We're shooting for early May right now and we are SO excited.

Funktified will be located right off Main Street in Broken Arrow and will feature feature some of my furniture and paint from Daydream Apothecary. It will also feature a TON of funky, maximalist decor and gifts! It's going to be different but it's also going to be FUNKY!

Just a heads up, my booth at Vintage Phoenix Marketplace in Broken Arrow is on sale! I'm offering 25% off all furniture for the rest of the month as we prepare to move out and open Funktified in downtown Broken Arrow in the coming weeks.

Our new store will offer super funky home decor, art and custom furniture (not just what I paint). We will also have an art studio of sorts available for furniture painting classes and more! We cannot wait to share this funkiness with you soon! In the meantime, go buy out my booth so I don't have to move so much furniture! :-)

We are making progress on the new store Funktified! We're bringing the FUNK to Broken Arrow this Spring!

We are making progress! Next, we will be able to finally start painting the inside and making it FUNKY!! Of course, we also plan on pouring concrete for a new parking lot too so there's still lots to do but at least we are moving in the right direction!
