Chateau Clerc Milon 2006 (98 SPW)haven’t tasted this vintage in several years. It totally mellowed, exploded and came in to its own and is at its peak right now - I mean like today !

Andremily Syrah. Give this puppy about
4-5 hours to breathe and it explodes.
Goes from a 95 to a rock solid 100 SPW.
Licorice, mint, cherries and long smooth basil and peppermint finish.

Starting with Moet Ice over ice with an orange slice, then 2018 Altamura Napa Cab and 2121 Abstract by Orin Swift. Lobster tails, skirt steak and lamb chops on the grill.

SPaw Holiday Dinner at Rosie’s Bistro in Bronxville here's how the wine stacked up:
#1 BV George Latour 2019 (100 PSPW) - took about an hour to open and really surprised us after about 90 min.
#2 Morlet Family Vineyards Coeur de Vallee Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (100 SPW)
#3 Sassicaia 2019 (98 SPW) After an hour mint and scents of alpine showed up. Really improved after about 45 min.
#4 2017 Realm Moonracer (97 SPW)
#5 Bisol Private Cartizze Dry Sparkling Wine (94 SPW)

Christmas weekend line up. Christmas Eve- shrimp cocktail, lobster tails and a 2006 Piper Rare (97 SPW) Christmas- DP 2012 (98 SPW) lamb chops and a 2016 G2 Saxum (98 SPW) then a 1970 Taylor Fladgate - corked, bummer but it happens and it took me 1/2 hr to get cork out and then filter it…
