The colorful floral displays (and free WiFi) make for a great atmosphere!

Working from home can get boring. To break up the day, I like to bring my laptop on adventures to different parts of the city. Changing scenery keeps the creative juices flowing!

Today we’re down at Erie Basin Park in Red Hook.

Morgan Meese is a physical therapist turned wellness & business coach. She helps other therapists and healthcare providers just like her who "are looking for something more, from their careers, their lives, their selves."

Morgan proposed a small development project for Slope Tech. She wanted to make some custom design tweaks to her Members area. She uses the MemberVault platform. This is where she provides content for her paying members and trainees.

We wrote up some custom code (Javascript, HTML and CSS) to inject into her site to tweak the design. Now her MemberVault looks exactly like she wants so she is able to better serve her customers.

Suzi Shelton is a multi-award winning singer/songwriter and family performer based in Brooklyn, NY.

When the pandemic started, Suzi's in-person live shows were no longer possible. In order to adapt to the new circumstances she had the idea to provide remote music classes over Zoom.

As she began promoting these classes, we migrated her website to Squarespace and did a full re-design.

We collaborated closely with Suzi to implement her brand vision, create an online sign up and registration system for her new remote Music Classes, and start an ecommerce store where she sells merch and other items.

Wordpress has been around for a long time, has tons of features and addons, and support for custom developed plugins. It's main critique is that because of the massive number of features and addons it can be daunting to learn at this stage in the game.

Webflow is a newer platform and is a key player in the "no-code" revolution. It is my go to platform today because of it's modern features, intuitive design interface and powerful animation tools. The newness of Webflow is a big plus. It is considered somewhat "Future-proof."
