#deadcoversproject Here is my version of Bertha with some bleeps, bloops, and a lot of maj7 chords. It’s one of my favorite songs to run to as it has the word ‘run’ a staggering nine times in the first verse with a ‘I had to move’ to follow in the chorus. While not on the Europe ‘72 record it was in the Dead’s rotation during that tour. Had an audio malfunction with my interface, so I had to use a phone’s audio. This was the first and only take.
