Fulfilled November Scrip orders were placed in teacher mailboxes on Friday. Check your student’s backpack to see if your order came home Friday; if not, then look Monday!

Scrip Holiday gift card order forms were sent home with students Friday. All orders and payments are due Friday 11/10 by 1pm. No late orders will be processed in this bulk order.

Online ordering/paying ensures your darling child doesn’t “forget” to turn in your order!😏

Cards are expected to be sent home with students Mon 11/20 or Tues 11/21-just in time for Black Friday shopping!

Missed the deadline? No worries! We will have another bulk order in December for all your Holiday gifting needs!

🖤Thank you to all who volunteered their time and their trunks, to the 5th grade for putting on such a fantastic haunted house, and to all who shared in such a spooky fun night with us!

🧡The votes have been counted and we have our top 3 trunks! And the winners are 🥁🥁🥁………..

🏆1st place with 95 tickets, and winners of a $100 scrip gift card of their choice: Merrifield

🏆2nd place with 44 tickets, and winners of a $50 scrip gift card of their choice: O’Neill

🖤We had such PHENOMINAL trunks, and our Allergy table was a huge hit too!

Trunk or treat is next Friday! We are looking for more trunks! Please email [email protected] to let us know you can do a trunk. There will be gift card prizes for winning trunks! We also need candy donations from families. You can send your kids to school with candy to feed the “candy monster.” Fifth grade has been working really hard on the haunted walk. You won’t want to miss it. There will be food available for purchase. This is a super fun event!!

Hello Worrall families! Thank you so much for your support with the Mums fundraiser so far!

We figured out that we ARE able to use our Venmo if you’d like to order/pay for your mums that way!

So sorry for the late notice, and because of that, we are going to extend all Venmo Mum orders until this Wednesday, September 13th at 7pm (last day we can tell the greenhouse our total order).

If you’d prefer to pay cash or check, those orders must be turned in no later than tomorrow, September 12th.

So here’s what you should know if you’d like to pay via Venmo…

1. The handle: pto
2. The description: your full name, email, and number of each color you’d like (red, yellow, white, orange, pink/purple)
3. The price: $10 each

How is this money used? 🤔

PTO Dues fund grade-level field trips, field day and PSSA t-shirts, inflatable rentals, teacher-requested supplies like books and classroom rugs, assistance for Worrall families in need, Big Buddy Breakfast, Family Movie night, Trunk or Treat, and so much more. We need your help to make this year truly special, and we appreciate your support! 🥳🍎🚍📚👕🎃

Hey Worrall parents!
Don’t forget that this coming Tuesday is the last day to order your Mums!

You can either come to the school and fill out an order form (please bring either check or cash) on Monday between 3:45 and 4:15pm

OR

fill out the form sent home in orange back to school folders and send back in with proper payment (kids can either give to front office or teachers to turn in).

Here is some information for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts- Daisy Troop in our area. Both will be starting this fall. The Boy Scouts are hosting a Campfire kick off this Saturday. Check it out!

Hey there, parents! If you would like to pay for mums in person, you can come up to Worrall this afternoon from 3:45-4:15 to do so. There will also be a PTO board member there to talk about the exciting plans we have for this year.

In the orange first-day folders, you should have received a few communications from the Worrall PTO (see below for a copy of those letters.) Kinder families, you'll receive this info as well next week! 😊

You'll notice in our first-day letter that we have implemented a new directory platform this year called PTBoard. Some of you have already registered; we loved seeing the names pouring in last night! 😍

If you haven't, you can scan the QR code or follow the directions to complete the easy registration process. With PTBoard, you'll have the option to:

✔️ Register as a parent
✔️ Add your student(s)
✔️ Join your student('s) specific class
✔️ Volunteer/sign up to be your student('s) homeroom parent (more volunteer opportunities to be added regularly)
✔️ Download the app for easy access

A few parents reached out regarding this new platform so we wanted to take the opportunity to clarify that PTBoard is REPLACING MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT. We will NO LONGER be using membership toolkit and will be sending out a separate communication containing dues information. Keep your eye out for Dr. Sturdivant's Worrall Weekly this Sunday to learn more. Thanks so much for asking! 🥰

We were thrilled to see so many smiling faces at Kinder and New Student Orientation today! 😁

We had a blast kicking off the school year with our tiniest Tigers, and loved setting them up with some spirit wear to get their collections started! 🫶
