One of the many reasons why I love my career is that I get to witness someone’s confidence and self love grow when they look in the mirror when starting their skin journey.

Acne treatment and acne therapy is one of my top specialities! Why!? Because I also suffer with adult hormonal acne. It’s something near and dear to my heart, which makes me want to have the best treatments and results for our clients. Having come from a dermatology med spa background, I was able to gain the knowledge and training needed to help my acne clients treat their acne externally, but also give advice on how to treat internally as well.

This beautiful client of mine did a series of RF Needling and microneedling on the face and neck. During her treatments I suspected she might have some underlying Melasma.
Melasma is a hormonal pigmentation that can occur in women and men. Melasma happens because of the overproduction of Melanin or the cells that create pigmentation. It is usually heat induced and will become darker in the summer months post sun exposure. This is a very very common skin condition that can be well controlled with proper skin products and treatments.

As you can see what a beautiful textural change she’s already noticing, improvement of pitted acne scars, enlarged pores, and overall skin tone. This client has had 2 microneedling treatments to aid with treatment of Melasma, and is also using the Britalive Serum to treat pigmentation and to stop it in its tracks. It’s only been 2 months and we’ve been able to see some amazing changes with her skin.

For treatment of discoloration or Melasma I usually always recommend 6 treatments 4 weeks apart. Her results are just going to continue to improve, especially if she keeps slathering on the SPF like she already does.
