Ode to punk rock. I used tubes often in my jewelry design back in the 1980’s, my punk rock years. I still love designing with tubes and dancing to punk rock.

Some fun facts:
-I hate doing laundry and that’s why I have a few clean clothes to choose from. -My handmade earrings are super lightweight, but my lobes are so sensitive that I need zero weight, so I can’t wear most of my earring designs. - I have a 41 year old daughter. She’s super cool and works as an assistant principal in the S Bronx. -Our 44 year old son has special needs. He’s a full time volunteer and loves it! Inclusion!! We built an addition off our home for him and a 2nd floor studio apartment, so now I have three homes to look after. I’m a home-body so it’s fun. -I hated high school. My teachers didn’t understand the way I needed to learn so basically ignored me which lead to a career in special education. -I’m a grass roots girl! I cofounded our Williamsville Farmers’ Market and have been involved in lots of community start-ups. - I love to cook but don’t bake, and I’m not the best at cleaning dishes. -As I write this, I’m thinking… who cares?? -My dad is 97! He owes his good health to his Italian heritage- Watch Blue Points on Netflix. -I’m a rustic gardener and love creating what I consider a beautiful space. We’ve planted 17 trees on our property. -I’m a thrifter. -
-And still I’m thinking…. Who cares?? -I like rain and winter because it helps me relax. -I met Phil when I was 18. We’ve been married for 47years and yes of course it’s effort. I’m now 67 and just starting my life which feels new to me every single day 💞

I’ve had this piece of brass hardware for quite some time and just figured out how to work it in a necklace design. The stone is lapis. Do you like it?!

Just like French couture drape there fabric over models, I made this piece on my mannequin. Someday I’d like to watch a Parisian clothing designer work their magic🌟 shell,, gold and lapis pictured here💞
