Nurzhan Kulybaev aka Mr. Cool was born in the city of Tashkent. In 1994, Nurzhan was accepted on a full scholarship to the Department of Classical Ballet Artistry, the National Academy of Ballet and Choreography in Tashkent. At the young age of 16, he joined the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater in Tashkent. In 2001, while still a student at the Tashkent State Academy of Dance, he was awarded an Honorary Diploma of The International Ballet competition in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2003, Nurzhan became a Principal dancer with the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater. While dancing at the Bolshoi Nurzhan danced the leads in the ballets Coppelia, Don Quixote, The Fountain of Bakhchisarai, Raymonda and Sleeping Beauty. With the company Nurzhan toured in Japan, Turkey, and China.

In 2007, Nurzhan moved to Russia and joined Yacobson's Ballet of St. Petersburg, Russia working as a principal dancer where he danced the lead parts of Harmodius in the ballet Spartacus, Idol in Choreographic miniatures, Count Albert in Giselle, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, Romeo and Paris in Romeo and Juliet, the Prince in The Nutcracker, Nur in Scheherezade, The Poet in Les Sylphides, and Gogi in The Color of Pomegranates. With Yakobson’s Ballet Nurzhan traveled and performed in the United States, Canada, Israel, Mexico, Japan, Germany and Italy. Nurzhan became a Laureate at the prestigious International Ballet Competition in Rieti, Italy.

In 2009, Nurzhan received the highest theater award of St. Petersburg, Russia known as the “Golden Sofit”. Nurzhan won the prize for the best male ballet performance of 2009 for his role as Gogi in the ballet The Color of Pomegranates. He was invited to perform for Alla Osipenko at her 80th anniversary Gala concert. In 2010, Nurzhan was awarded an honorary diploma for his participation in the finale of the XI International Ballet Competition, Arabesque in Perm, Russia. His contribution also received a Special Jury Prix called "Inspiration" for outstanding acting. In October 2010, Nurzhan was invited to be a part of the Gala Concert in Donetsk, Ukraine called "International Stars of Ballet”, where he performed alongside the principal dancers of the National Ballet of Cuba and Paris Operah.

In 2011, Nurzhan moved to Canada and joined the Royal Winnipeg as a principal dancer. Later, Nurzhan moved to The United States and married his wife, Natalya. They taught together at their own ballet school until the summer of 2019, when Nurzhan became the Artistic Director of Ballet Le Reve. With Ballet Le Reve, Nurzhan choreographed full length ballets such as Alice in Wonderland and Giselle which were performed with the live Canton Symphony Orchestra.

In 2019 Nurzhan became an ABT certified teacher. During the same year, Nurzhan and his wife, Natalya were invited to join Fort Wayne Ballet, where he became the Ballet Master. Nurzhan loves to share his passion for ballet and his professional dance experience with new generations of dancers.

Miss Natalya Vyashenko is ABT certified teacher. She has successfully prepared and presented many of her students for ABT student examinations in person and virtually earning a status of ABT felllow teacher.

We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Stretch/Strengthening/Conditioning, and Character dance. We will design a training program specific to your dancer to achieve maximum results.
