Our friends from the Atlanta Fire Department came by for a class on annual fire pump inspections.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing mothers out there from the CFD family!

Our Friday spotlight goes out to our On-site Maintenance Management Team. One of our maintenance technicians Adam, has been diligently working in two of our midtown high rise customers facilility’s. Each day he is providing onsite maintenance and preventative maintenance (PM’s) daily; ensuring that our customer’s property’s are maintained and that their systems are functioning at optimum levels. Onsite Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance is just another way CFD serves our customers by prolonging the life of the critical building systems. Thank you Adam for your hard work and excellent customer service!

Our Friday spotlight goes to our CFD Mechanical section for their exceptional work servicing one of our valued Chic-Fil-A partners fryer’s this week. Without regular maintenance and expedient repairs from trained CFD Henny Penny service technicians, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the delicious food and exceptional customer service that we all love! Thank you CFD Mechanical section!

Yesterday, our team was on site at one of our Buckhead high-rise customer’s property, training the Atlanta Fire Rescue about the building’s Life Safety systems operation in the event of emergencies and extreme weather conditions. We also covered building specific hazards, evacuation meeting areas, and specific resident needs for evacuation. This is a value add service that we offer to our CFD customers to ensure that the first due fire department units are familiar with their properties and systems. Thank you Atlanta Fire for your cooperation and attention throughout the event!

Today’s Friday spotlight goes to our CFD Nashville office team. Members of our Nashville Operations team have spent the week with our Manager of Business Development Taylor Rowan and our Videographer Brian O’Rourke; filming operational tutorials for Life Safety Systems for properties that we have partnered with in Tennessee. Training videos are just one of the many benefits our CFD customers receive when they partner with us to maintain code compliance and Life Safety for their properties. Great work CFD Nashville for providing quality training and service for our Tennessee and Kentucky partners!

Today’s Friday Spotlight goes to the CFD Electricians of our Electrical Section! They completed multiple transformer replacements this week in electrical rooms for one of our Buckhead Highrise customers and did a great job! The new replacements allow for more efficiency, lower fire hazard, less wear on other electrical components, and a lower decibel rating; which provides less of a noise inconvenience to tenants and guests! Great work CFD Electric on great work and a happy customer!

Today’s CFD Friday Spotlight falls on our Logistics section. Logistics is the backbone of every industry and at Chief it is no different. Our Logistics team ensures that our warehouse is stocked, our crews have materials, our vehicle fleet is in good condition, and our business office’s in each state are equipped. As our crews work across the Southeast our Logistics team is working just as hard to ensure that our company runs as efficiently as possible to better serve our customers! CFD Life Safety Inspectors aren’t letting the weather get them down today! They are hard at work today in one of our Midtown high rise customer’s facility ensuring their life safety systems are compliant. Our inspectors and technicians number one goal is ensuring the protection of life and property in the buildings we serve!

We are blessed to have Paul Staton in the office with us today teaching our newest employees the history of our company! Paul is the second owner of Chief Fire and the nephew of our founder Chief Paul Netherland of the Atlanta Fire Department. Mr. Staton a former fireman himself, is part of a long line of firemen including Chief Netherland and both of Mr. Staton’s sons. We are very proud of our firefighting heritage here at Chief!
