We are LUCKY ☘️ to be here and so grateful y'all are here too!

We are Joe and Kimberly Brown - we have been together half our lives, but God wrote our story from birth. We were born at the same hospital hours a part and our moms were in the birthing center together - CRAZY! We didn't meet until almost 20 years later - we were at the same college with the same major, the same minor, and both enjoying Greek life (maybe a little too much 😜).

We eloped, because everyone knows families, weddings, and finances can be a real hot mess -

Yet, before we got married, Joe really wanted to join the Marines. I was in full support of him and his dreams, unfortunately I knew I was not the woman for the job... Well, I guess I was hard to resist 😂, so we got married and lived happily ever after - hahahah, oh boy if it were that easy.

So, both being AZ natives and from real estate families - we logically went into real estate.

I got pregnant with our first - and well, Joe decided he was going to be a cop - WHAT?! - bait and switch marriage 🥴

So over a decade later - 3 kids we are homeschooling, and a marriage that had seen better days - what does a family do...

Sell everything and move to Montana - yep, that seemed totally normal and logical. We loved it though. Truly God's country, but scenery doesn't change struggles...

So, time for another change - we bought and RV and traveled the country for a year. No, we had never camped before, never drove an RV - BUT we did it. We also quickly realized we were in about 32ft of space and could not escape our problems - 29 states later and we were putting life back together and enjoying the ride ❤️.

We went back to Montana where all our stuff was left in a storage unit - we figured we would unpack our things and our life. Try and make a new life in God's beauty - well that's not exactly how things turned out, despite our efforts.

We went back to the drawing board - realized we needed to make a living. Joe hadn't fully grasped not being a cop anymore and we needed a community. So why not head south?!

Georgia here we come - back to normalcy, cop life, and good ol suburbia. Hahaha - oh man - when we plan, God must really enjoy a good laugh with us.

So... Joe joins SWAT, I homeschool the kids, we find a deeper level of faith we hadn't had before, kids are finding their passions... And BAM!

Joe gets injured on SWAT - we deal with workers comp - oh what a nightmare. He uses all his paid time off, we try and navigate the whole process - flash forward 2 months, yep 2 months, NO assessment, NO treatment. Finally - told his foot is pretty messed up, but he has to attempt 4 weeks of physical therapy before able to be approved for surgery. Welp - that didn't work, because his foot didn't like physical therapy and they insisted he go back to the Dr.

Surgery was next - 2 ligaments torn, a tendon dislocated, a partial OCD, a hematoma the size of a grapefruit needed to be evacuated, and some cartilage needed to be repaired.

During all this we are a 1 income family barely stringing it together. workers comp pays less than half of our normal monthly income which was already not fully providing - so here we are, panic mode.

God opens a door - we inadvertently came across an opportunity to sell insurance - sitting in bed, Joe looked at me and said "you want to sell insursnce together" - I obviously said yes.

We were able to do it from home, get ramped up pretty quickly and do something good - good for each other, our family, and our community.

Here we are - a police family, COMPLETELY under covered. We had no accidental or disability insurance - no other insurance outside of what the department covered (mainly for on duty incidents). I definitely was NOT covered - wow - what a wake up call!

What if something worse happened than just his foot??? A question, I never want the answer to!

So, now - we get to work together, be with our family, and help families protect their legacy.
