SUMMER TIMES TEXTS start this Tuesday 06/01!

We will give simple prompts to follow during times of day that are in the core of your family schedule. During that time frame you can use the given prompt with your kids!

MORNING TIME - Goal: Be their Coach! Encourage. Inspire. Get ready for the day. Pray over them. Remind them of Truths.

DRIVE TIME - Goal: Be their Friend! Connect. Relate. Learn about their current interests. Relax and listen. Help them learn about the gifts and talents God has given them and how to use them for His glory!

MEAL TIME - Goal: Be their Teacher! Establish family values. What do you seek to prioritize as a family? Talk about what you have been learning as a family and what do you feel God leading you to do with it? Talk about why you believe what you believe.

BED TIME - Goal: Be their Counselor! Bed time is a reflective time. Help them reason with things that may have happened to them in the day. Call out good things you saw them do during the day. Build intimacy with them. Pray for them and encourage them to pray and grow their relationship with the Father.

Emmaus Kids practiced being ENCOURAGING yesterday by writing encouraging letters to our Pastors! 😍 They did such a great job!

We did this because we learned that Barbara’s was sent to Antioch to encourage the believers. Even though some people tried to stop it, the gospel spread throughout the earth-not only to Jews but also to Gentiles. The good news about Jesus is for everyone. God calls us to celebrate when others believe and help them know and love Jesus more.

Easter is almost here! Can you even believe it?! This year we are going to provide a text-based devotional to walk through with our families for the 2 weeks leading up to Easter! These will be very simple, quick devotions. Very similar to what we did for Advent!

The Ethiopian official knew what the Old Testament prophets said, but he did not understand that they spoke about Jesus. The Holy Spirit led Philip to help the official understand the god news about Jesus: Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead, just like the Old Testament prophets said.
