I love summertime in Texas! There is an endless buzz of wildlife activity and my macro lens and I are here for it!

With the world pulling for your attention at every turn, finding joy in the simple things can actually take some real intentional mindset shifts.

I am a creative down deep in my soul…. Which for me, means I find myself often moving on to the next thing without taking time to enjoy the process or time to enjoy the actual creation.

Here’s a little PSA….Today, not tomorrow, take that time to stop and enjoy something simple❣️

My favorite place.

I have always loved photoshop. But after my last conference, I learned so many more fun techniques I've had fun playing with! Thanks to at it sparked my imagination and I've been creating! The landscape is a photo I took while hunting a few years ago, the squash I picked up from last weekend and I quickly knew it'd be the tiny home I had imagined....the mushroom tree I photographed at Spring Creek Garden's fairy setup and my kids indulged my imagination and posed just perfectly so I could photograph and impose them into the scene. The dogs on the other hand.... I pulled old photos of them to use becuause, well they are maniacs and I only have these two photos that are actually clear of them 🤪
The kids and I have been dreaming up the next composition, so stay tuned 🥰

We all reach our goals at different points. And that’s a beautiful blessing.
