**** URGENT MESSAGE ****

We are asking our Pender community to come together for help, to assist those affected in the western part of the state by Hurricane Helene. Right now the biggest need is water per Emergency Management. We will be making a tractor trailer delivery to western NC in the morning.
We are asking for donations of water to be dropped off at our emergency operations center in Burgaw (805 Ridgewood Ave, Burgaw, NC 28425)

(16660 US-17, Hampstead, NC 28443)

Monetary donations can be made out to Pender EMS and Fire, Inc.

Additionally, we will be making another delivery on Wednesday for more disaster supplies. These donations can be other needed items such as:

Non-perishable foods, water, sodas, snacks, candy, children’s toys, stuffed animals, anything for the kids, diapers, baby wipes, skin ointment, mosquito repellant, bug spray, cleaning supplies, brooms, mops, CAMPING TENTS, SLEEPING BAGS, Blankets, Pillows, COATS, CLOTHING. In general, shoes, socks OF ALL SIZES, toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary napkins, OTC meds, shampoo, Clorox, pine cleaner, paper plates, forks, spoons, knives, hand sanitizer, etc.

Staff are on hand, ready to accept donations. Let’s all step up big in Pender County and answer the call together!

🍁I love wicker/rattan and my porches can attest. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and saw so many forms I never knew existed including this holy grail piece— a reclining rocker! I would never get anything done if I had one!!! 🍁

🍁We bought this set fully intending to sell it until Larry suggested we put it on our front porch. Some paint and new upholstery will bring it back to life! 🍁
