You guys! We have a Renewal Granny Square Vest! Well, minus a few loose ends and a bath. 🙂 I'll be taking care of the loose ends today and she'll be ready for her shop debut in the next few days! I'm very happy with how it turned out and really enjoyed working with @berroco Bozzolo. I made the size L/XL and my only modifications were to add a collar and to make the back square one round larger. I wanted the back to sit a little higher than the front. Our final class of the Winter Season is fast approaching! Join us this Sunday, 3/10 from 3-5pm to learn all about Portuguese Knitting. This is an efficient style of knitting that requires very little movement overall. It relies on a slight thumb flick for each stitch which makes the purl stitch a lot more fun! The yarn is wrapped around your neck or through a pin attached to your clothing and you wind up holding the yarn in front of the item instead of behind. Because there is less movement of your hands, with practice, it can improve your knitting speed and is less impactful on the hands and wrists.
