So proud of this girl!!

Client reviews make my heart smile🫶🏻🥰

Y’all really keep me going because at the end of they day I do this for y’all!! I want my space to be welcoming to everyone. And I want my clients to be able to come to me with any concerns whether is about the skin, their service, their crazy ex, everything🤣.

You know your passionate when you know if money wasn’t a factor you’d do your job for free. Unfortunately money rules our world so that’s not the case🤦🏼‍♀️ but hypothetically I’d do this in any lifetime🤭

Again, thank you to all my beautiful clients, past and future clients!

Pictured is the top of a water heater and circled is the temperature pressure release valve. Drains from these valves (and all drains) should run down hill. Someone tried very hard to avoid that. It’s a common mistake we see on water heaters.

Well the first cold weather of the year is upon us and its time to think about the Fall chores we have put off. This is a great time to look at the caulking around your windows and doors. This often forgotten chore can help you save money and keep the house more comfortable. So I would encourage you to slip on your jacket and take a look. The only thing you have too loose are some drafty windows.

(Part 4) Keep in mind that if your attic is cooler the A/C works more efficiently and the Christmas decorations won’t melt. Stay cool and have a great week.

08/10/2010

(Part 2) Here are a couple things you might look for. Do you have plenty of soffit vents? Check to make sure the soffit vents are not covered in the attic by insulation. If you need a new roof put on check to see if a ridge vent is right for your home. Keep in mind that an ideal attic should have a similar temperature reading as the outside air. And if you are always pulling outside air through that space it will be.

08/10/2010

(Part 2) Ridge vents are "passive" (no moving parts) that work on convection (hot air rises). Power vents are electrically powered fans that are thermostatically controlled. All of these systems rely on soffit vents. They draw air in from the soffit vents and expel it out the roof.

08/10/2010

(Part 1)If you think it’s too hot out, spend a little time in your attic. This idea would not be as crazy as it sounds if we paid a little more attention to the ventilation in our attics. There are 3 popular ways to vent the attic. Turbine vents, Ridge vents and Power vents. Turbines will turn when there is a breeze and draw hot air out of the attic.

Ever wonder why new homes have so many smoke detectors? The code states that they are required in every sleeping room and the hallway outside the sleeping room. So a 3 bedroom house would have at least 4 smoke detectors. Possibly 5 or 6. The batteries in a smoke detector can last for years, but it is a good idea to test them at least once a year. While this is not a priority for most people they do save lives.
