Winooski Fiber Fair is today and it’s in conjunction with the Winooski Sunday Farmers Market! 10 AM to 2 PM! Free parking in the garage that’s just around the corner from the farmers market! Looks like SUNSHINE most of the day!

I’m feeling a little better and the weather looks like it might end up being sunny tomorrow so trying to make two more hats for the Winooski fiber fair! This one is a petite adult ferret hat!

Sorry, but I had to back out of doing the farmers market today. The strong winds will blow my hats and T-shirts all over Burlington! I’m feeling kind of rundown and not particularly Happy Fantastic!

Labor Day weekend (this weekend) will be the last weekend I will have tank tops this season. Then I’m packing them up until next summer!!! So if you want one for winter vacations or to work out in, stop by the Burlington Farmers Market this Saturday or the Winooski Fiber Fair on Sunday.

Saturday is MARKET DAY!!! Seriously, if you haven’t been to the Burlington Farmers Market yet this year you MUST GO!!! We have almost 100 vendors from veggies to berries to ginger beer, art, pottery, wood turned bowls, Mo-mos and dumplings, art tee shirts, maple cookies, chicken art n’ stickers, the best locally made tostadas, cute dogs, live music, and SO MUCH MORE!!! Every Saturday, 9-2.

Been teaching all week, and trying to get caught up on making stuff for the farmers’ market! Silkscreened all morning and now on to hats!

People are horrible!!!! I’d say a hell of a lot worse but this is my business account. Call police if you see this van!!!

Burlington Farmers Market is tomorrow! It’s peak produce season and awesome art season! Stop by Pine Street from 9 AM to 2 PM to take in all the amazing things the Farmers Market has to offer such as live music, delicious, ready to eat food, a kids, tent, community, tents, and more!

Trying to make as many hats as I can today! Really struggling to keep up. My goal is 4 hats today!

I haven’t made any Dancing Tiger Kitties hats all summer!!! Printed a 6 bands yesterday and made a hat today!

Working on ferret hats. I silk screen my own ferret art on the hat bands and then sew the entire hat. Each hat takes up to 2 hours.

At the Burlington Farmers Market until 2 PM today! I have printed and put out almost all of the tank tops I have! It’s a beautiful day in the 80s and perfect for a loose Happy Fantastic tank top!

It’s national Farmers Market Week!!! A GIANT THANK YOU to the Burlington Farmers Market staff, volunteers, and vendors! People have NO IDEA how much work, MONEY, and time it takes to create such an AMAZING market! I am so thankful to be part of such an amazing group of people and that the market does it best to be democratic and not play favorites!

Burlington Farmers Market is today! Oh my goodness just walking through the booths it feels like a real Vermont summer! So much color and art and wonderfulness!

I printed more robot tote bags! This time I have them in blue, green, and black robots! At the Burlington Farmers Market until 2pm!

LOST IN THE FLOOD

Hello neighbors. As you likely know, the homes and belongings of many of our upstream neighbors were washed away in the recent flooding. While many of the belongings were destroyed or buried in silt, there has been some success with reuniting people with some precious lost photos, journals, and other items. I am posting this to ask you, in cities and towns downriver, to keep your eyes open if you are on or near the river(or Lake Champlain), and if you see anything that might be a personal item(think grandma's wooden spoon, a prized action figure, journals, the cutting board you carved in junior high), to send a photo of it to [email protected] . From there I will try to connect it with the owner.

NOTE: there is someone who has offered to do professional restoration of photos and paper items. The advice if you find anything of this sort is to NOT try to dry it, as this could cause further damage, so just leave it damp.

If you are near Plainfield, there are bins on the stone wall at the church where found personal items can be dropped off. If you are farther afield I will try to arrange for pickup.

On a sad note(content warning of deceased animals), some pets were also lost in the flood. If you see any remains that might have been a pet, please send a photo as well, as this may provide closure for someone(I will screen photos so they are not seen by pet owners).

Thank you all for your help in trying to find a little light in this recent destruction.

Saturday is gonna be AWESOME!!!

Started this hat yesterday and fell asleep before I finished it! Each elephant is my own art which I silkscreen over paisley fabric and then I sew the hat. So it takes about 2 hours. Size: petite adult / large child.

Still tired and under the weather, but I am making hats! And then naps! Naps and hats!
