Our farmers market breakout sauce has been Steve, or as Hope likes to call him, Stevie!!! Our honorary hound is a fun and quirky sauce that uses scotch bonnet, pineapple, and VT maple syrup (sourced locally from ) to create a unique sauce perfect for things like tacos, curries, or a breakfast sandwich!! 🚨New Face Alert:

A Huge Hound Welcome to Maggie!!

Steve’s grandma and Hope’s Mom!!! She will be helping us out tomorrow at !! As she likes to say: a mom’s work is never done!! She has been a massive help throughout the startup process but this is not her first rodeo!

Maggie has worked as an Ambassador, Board Member, and Volunteer for the Special Olympics in Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and Vermont raising over a million dollars in her 40 years with the charity and is currently a teacher at MMU where she also works as the Facility Advisor for the student service trips, leading trips to places like Tanzania, Ecuador, and India! She might not know everything about our peppers or sauces but has quite a few adventures under her belt that makes her the perfect addition to help our team!! (Ask about her time in east Berlin and the ten million mark bill she has)

These labels are next level!! Huge shout out to for designing them! With owning a small business, there are successes and failures and these new labels came out of a misprint but ended up looking amazing!!

Hey Hounds! We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you!

Our first farmers market EVER was in Winooski this past weekend and it was a blast. We loved meeting many of you and your hounds. Looking forward to meeting even more of y’all the rest of the season! Also big shoutout/thank you to for having us!

Hope lives in Chicago with beloved cat (and honorary hound) Steve. Originally from Essex, Hope graduated from UVM with a degree in Political Science which sits collecting dust as she works as a data developer at Steppenwolf Theater Company. Hope has always had a knack for numbers which lends itself to our company, as she runs the logistic side of our business.

She has been graciously allowed to live in Steve’s house, who has her wrapped around his paw. You can find her watching a Steppenwolf performance, checking out new exhibits at the Art Institute of Chicago, or drinking her way through chi-town rooftop bars.

Find her behind the scenes updating our books, filing our taxes, or taking the photos for our Instagram!!

🌭 DERRICK🌭

Derrick moved from Boston to attended UVM, where he studied Computer Science and Business, graduating in 2021. While at UVM, Derrick was an active member of Kappa Sigma and was the Captain of Club Roller Hockey. Derrick has always had an entrepreneurial and creative mindset, this has helped our company, as he created the Maggie sauce and has invaluable in the creation of our business.

Derrick is the loving owner of Maggie, whom he spoils whenever he is home in Boston. Catch him on the slopes, competing in Spartan races, and drinking his way through the Vermont Brewers passport with his partner Eliza.

Find him this summer at our Farmers Market booth this summer, in the kitchen making Maggie, and running our social media accounts!!

✨SIERRA✨

Sierra, originally from Colchester, lives in South Burlington with her partner Niko. Her love of cooking began in high school when she attended a culinary arts program at Essex Tech, where she graduated from the top of her class!! Her love only continued to grow since then becoming a masterful hobby that lends itself to our company, as she used those skills to develop the Talulah, Piper, and Steve sauces.

She is the loving owner of Tallulah and Piper, whom Niko and her spoil rotten. In her free time, she loves to travel, is the hostess with the mostest planning social events for her friends, taking care of her herb garden, challenge whoever at a game of Settlers of Catan, and spend the summer months laying out near any body of water!!

Find her in the kitchen making our batches or at our Farmers Market booth this summer!!

🚨LAST UP🚨 Is our honorary hound!
Hope’s treasured rescue, Steve has a little secret; he is in fact not a hound!! BUT that wont stop him. So fall in love with the Steve just as much as we have. Colored after his bright yellow eyes, this Vermont maple, scotch bonnet, and pineapple medley, like Steve, packs a punch with a burst of citrus and ‘lil something sweet underneath.

We recommend Steve with curries, wings, carnitas, and bloody marys!

🚨 ATTENTION 🚨 New hound on the block!

Derrick’s bite sized boxer pup, Maggie, the runt of her litter, has a larger than life personality that shines through in this sauce, a true testament to every underdog out there. Smoky, spicy, and oh so sassy… the Maggie is jam packed with serrano and chipotle peppers. The Maggie will have your mouth watering and your paws reaching for more!

We recommend Maggie on eggs, pork, chili, or as a salsa!

Sierra’s howling hound Piper is an adorable, s***ky Dachshund mix with an ATTITUDE. Piper is a full-flavored blend of Thai chilis and roasted garlic that matches her attitude perfectly. Bring this to any party and it will be the star of the night. Just like Piper.

First up in the Hound Hot Sauce lineup is Talulah!

Sierra’s beloved Talulah is a sweet Italian Greyhound rescue. Talulah’s lovable and agreeable nature makes her the least spicy of our pack but brings the freshest flavors! Filled with the vibrant flavors of cilantro, jalapeño, poblano, and lime, this verde is a great mild sauce that will be loved by all, just like Talulah

We recommend Talulah with any Mexican dish, chicken, or vegetarian meals

We are proud to announce the official Hound Hot Sauce lineup! These locally made VT hot sauces are named after our furry friends Talulah, Piper, Steve, and Maggie, these sauces have as much s***k as they do! 10% of all profits from our sauces go to local nonprofits. So find your furry friend, come grab a bottle, and feel good about the hot sauces on your table!
