KLsquared Restoration and Refinishing
I’m working to restore and refinish old furniture!
Hello all! I hope you had a good and safe Memorial Day!
Here’s a project my mom actually gave me! I had to do some adjustments to my usual procedure but I think it turned out pretty great!
Had a neighbor leave this beautiful vanity in front of my garage!
Very old and heavy, hardwood.
So I did what I do best…I got it ready for a new life by putting some work into it and making it beautiful again!
If you’re interested in this piece it is up for sale!
You can have this beautiful cabinet for $150 or best offer!
This gorgeous hutch is up for $80 or best offer!
This beauty is up for grabs at $200 or best offer!
Hey all! Just a quick update all the pieces I post on here are up for sale as well!
The prices are flexible so give me your best offer!
Here’s a quick little project I worked on this weekend! Opted for flat black and to keep the crystal drawer handle for this one.
I’ve got some nice projects lined up that I’m super excited to share with you as well!
Well I have to say, I’m very impressed with how this turned out considering the bottom drawer had been replaced with a different kind of wood.
Not bad looking for almost 100 years old.
Here’s a quick update on the 90 year old dresser! The rest of the dresser turned out gorgeous and retained its character, however there’s one hiccup!
Sometime in the 90 years it’s been around someone replaced the bottom drawer, now the two big drawers have different wood and I’m going to try to stain and match them!
Wish me luck!
The next exciting project! A dresser made by Forest Furniture Manufacturing Co.
Fun fact, Forest Furniture went out of business in 1934 after being open since 1891!
That means this dresser is at minimum 87 YEARS OLD!
Here’s the full before and after of this cabinet!
This one took some time and I learned some lessons but I think it turned out GREAT!
Here’s the last “in progress” pic of the cabinet before it’s done! It’s looking great!
A little work in progress shot of the cabinet in the previous photo! I can’t wait to get the sanding finished and throw a new coat of stain on it!
The start of a beautiful project found at the local thrift store! Will be working on this through the week to show its progress!
Hello, this is my temporary name and info page for my new antique and vintage furniture restoration and repair!
I will be posting updates as I go along of the fun projects I’m doing along the way!
