I graduated from Harvard University with a graduate degree in Urban Planning.
Beyond grateful to have had this opportunity of a lifetime! 🍀

I remember 2021, when I constantly asked myself “is this worth it?”. Is a degree worth uprooting my life in Nepal, worth trading all my opportunities in Nepal for two years abroad, worth emptying every penny I had saved, worth being away from my family and friends?
Two years later, I can happily say in a heartbeat; YES! If I could, I would do it all over again with the biggest smile on my face. ❤️

Reminiscing angry puppies and happy puppies and Juli’s beautiful sun-swept home and Asados and Matey(s) and Malbec(ss) and lounging after one too many of one of the above and pictures that couldn’t fit in the last post. i.e. Summing up our trip to Mendoza last July! ❤️ Still can’t get over how beautiful last summer was! Probably also because it’s -32 degrees in Boston today and I miss a weather that doesn’t give me frost bites. 🥲

Mendoza was the most beautiful place I travelled to in 2023. The home of Malbec, Mendoza is adorned by endless vineyards on the base of the Andes mountains. I hadn’t realized it until we reached there, that I am truly a mountain girl at heart! I felt at peace there after months away from home and our majestic mountains.
Will be a lot for a few weeks

Saw Pokhara with my parent’s lens this time.
Growing up, Pokhara used to be our go-to vacation. I remember making the usual visits to the bat cave, the Devi’s (or David’s?) fall, Fewa lake and Taniya ko quarter. Made the same trip a decade and half later but now it was my turn to show them around. Missed you Dai . Thought of our conversation of taking on the family responsibility the whole time. :)

At Niko Health post, our Beauty with a Purpose project after more than 2 years. The first picture has individuals who have contributed to the construction and operation of the project. Thank you Kailash Gaunpalika for providing steady health services to the village after our handover! Special thanks and regards to our Health Assistants, who have left home to live and work at this remote site.
Since handover, we have also added a staff quarter, a necessary addition to the project.
The Health post receives around 300 patients each month which is a great feat for a place where many have lost lives due to easily curable illnesses like Diarrhea or immediate first aid. Each name in the logbook would have had to walk 4 hours to the nearest health center in the absence of this health post.
So, THANK YOU! Thinking of every single helping hand who made it possible!. ❤️❤️❤️

Mirror selfies, Fall 2022 edition 🫣

What will probably be my last fall in Cambridge..
A strange nostalgia of the present as I live through it. I feel as though I have been capturing life with a video camera in my hand, putting memories in little compartments in my brain, gathering as much details as I can. The smell, the colors, the emotions that I feel every second, cause I do not wanna let go of this feeling. These moments right now will be most treasured chapters in my book of life, wish I could hold onto them forever.
