memories.

so many silly little boxes were meticulously stamped with these diy joints. i use to cruise joanne fabrics and michael’s craft stores all the time searching for stickers and random things to add to my pedals. I bought these letter stamps and hacked them up and glued them to tiny pieces of wood. they’re still standing strong after all these years. each print gets a little s**ttier than the one before. i like that. these have stamped countless pedals that have been all around the world. from bedrooms, stages of all sizes, huge festivals, and even some late night appearances (I think?).

maybe I should do some sort of limited one-offs with these?!

back on the shelf for now :)

was so good to hang and riff with Adam from Stompbox Sonic tonight. a great local resource for guitar effects. they even offer virtual consultation and will reamp your tracks live over zoom if you happen to not be local. How cool is that?!?

Long overdue hang with took place today. It was great talkin' pedals and guitars. And the new Loud/Louder totally rocks. The Loudest mode rules!

taking a break from some pcb design work to solder some LEDs. i always dread the idea of soldering until I get into it. the muscle memory takes over and my brain just starts to slow down. such a weird activity to bliss out to but I’ll take it. toss some Sopranos on the iPad and everything sort of falls into place.

building and assembling is all well and good but it’s the design process that does it for me. laying everything out and obsessing over the little details that mostly don’t matter. happy to say that this one looks as good as it sounds. coming soon with even more on the way.
