EVENT UPDATE!!! Event details on MIT Wrestling page. The 2021 Esquivel Open Memorial Workout Scoring and Standards. There will be MIT Wrestling giveaways to top finishers (team/individual) and maximum participation (for teams). We hope everyone is looking forward to the virtual workout event on Sunday April 18th. In this video, Zoe Pasetsky reviews the workout standards. As a reminder: THE WORKOUT 1. Run 2 miles 2. Immediately upon completion do 6 rounds of: - 40 air squats - 20 sit-ups - 30 jumping lunges - 20 push-ups 3. Record the time it takes to complete the run and the 6 rounds, but keep your timer running! 4. At the 45-minute mark begin with one burpee and increase by one burpee each minute until you can't do them all inside the given minute. Record the last round you successfully completed. THE SCORING Scoring will be based on the time it takes to complete Steps 1 & 2, minus 1 full minute for each round of burpees completed. Example: If you complete the run in 14 minutes and the 6 rounds in 20 minutes then make it through the 13th minute of burpees but fail on the 14th you will get the following score: 14 + 20 - 13 = 21 minutes overall DON'T WORRY - YOU CRUSH THE WORKOUT, WE'LL DO THE MATH! Scoring submissions will be posted the evening of the 18th via a google forms link. DONATIONS & REGISTRATION 1.
