Shepherd Johnson Earns Berth in Quarterfinals of NCAA Singles Championship - Massachusetts Institute of Technology Competing in the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles Championship on Saturday, first-year Katya Shepherd Johnson (Takoma Park, Md.) recorded a pair of victories to advance to the quarterfinals. This marks the third year in a row the MIT women's tennis team has been represented in this round.

Women’s Tennis Receives NEWMAC, ITA Postseason Awards - Massachusetts Institute of Technology During the past week, the MIT women's tennis team received 10 NEWMAC postseason honors while first-year Katya Shepherd Johnson (Takoma Park, Md.) and head coach Carol Matsuzaki earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast regional accolades.

Katya Shepherd Johnson Selected for NCAA Singles Championship - Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT first-year Katya Shepherd Johnson (Takoma Park, Md.) was selected to compete in the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles Championship in St. Louis, Mo. from May 25-27. This is the third year in a row the Engineers have qualified for this event.

Women's tennis was selected to host an NCAA Tournament Regional! The action begins on Friday but the Engineers received a first-round bye and will face either Whitman or Endicott on Saturday.
