Sharon*, the mother of one of our clients, sent this thank you note to the ACS clinician who worked with her son, Jared*, for his support and guidance. Jared is a 17-year-old boy who was struggling with substance use. Sharon filed a Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) with the court because she felt it was the best way she could help Jared with his struggle. After being referred to ACS, the clinician was able to help Jared and Sharon understand what resources were available and how Jared could get the help he needed. *To protect confidentiality, ACS does not use the names, photos, or identifying features of our clients. #supportouryouth #mentalhealthmatters #impactstory
