Sundog Outdoor Leadership Initiative builds character & skills by connecting youth with nature, peers & community, since 2017.
Sundog is now accepting applications for Winter 2023 after-school programs for Middle and High Schoolers in the Knox and Waldo Counties. We are continuing to partner with amazing outfitters and offer smaller, weeklong courses, without an overnight component in order to stay flexible as we continue to navigate covid. Our High School Girls Adventure program wrapped up yesterday with a meditation session and a kayak excursion in Camden Harbor with . The participants focused on one of each of our core values each week for four weeks accompanied by an outdoor activity led by Maine Guide Emily Morong and other female local experts.
Another huge thank you to for making this program possible and thanks to our five amazing participants. We hope to grow this program into an annual offering - stay tuned!
