...with four days left 'til the closing - a work crew enjoys a cold one on a hot day. After hearing of the terminal diagnosis...the mood is noticeably somber.

Enjoy SMOKIN' HOT Surf guitar madness at The Grand Dell Saloon tonight! We're featuring TWO great acts, including Australia's PREMIER Surf guitarist MARTIN CILIA aka the Dick Dale of Australia. Opening for Martin's band are local surf favorites, BroDaddy! Please expect a packed house and PLEASE support your touring artists; we will be charging a $10 door cover to cover our artists costs. TONIGHT! It's our final blues jam at The Grand Dell and we're throwing a big ol' blues bash featuring special guest, long-time Bay Area Blues veteran, Craig Horton! Come on down and jam with your friends in the house band - Eric Selenger, Ray Figueroa, Carlos Velasco and your host, Aki Kumar. We are expecting many Bay Area Blues stalwarts to drop-in tonight and you don't want to miss out on this party!

TONIGHT! Mark Hummel and Sid Morris, two of the brightest lights of the Bay Area blues scene, bring their tasty, down-home blues to The Grand Dell Saloon. Don't miss out on their harp and piano pyrotechnics; this is our last Wed. night blues offering and it doesn't get much better than these blues masters!

Sad news! In an unexpected turn of events, The Grand Dell will be closing its doors next week. Tony McKenna is ending The Dell's incredible run on Monday, August 5 because of an ongoing rent dispute with the property landlord.

The Dell has been home to terrific live entertainment and blues in Campbell for the last several years. We'd like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all our patrons, friends, fans and supporters who helped keep The Grand Dell Saloon a Campbell mainstay for many decades.

Since we have only 4 nights of world-class music left at the Dell, we'd like to invite everybody to come on down this week and party in style! Details below...

- Our weekly music kicks off on Wed. night with monster blues harp-man Mark Hummel and his equally accomplished partner-in-crime, Sid Morris, on piano.
- Thursday night will feature our world-famous blues jam hosted by Aki Kumar, Eric Selenger, Ray Figueroa and Carlos Velasco. Thursday night's featured guest is Craig Horton, one of the few "real deal" bluesmen here in the Bay Area.
- On Friday we are featuring a very special appearance by surf-guitar virtuoso, Martin Cilia, also known as Australia's "Dick Dale". Martin is on a tour of the West Coast with his band and opening for them will be the SF Bay's very own Surf music maniacs, BroDaddy! This show has a $10 cover and we urge all live music lover to come on out and support this great touring act.
- Our FINAL show is this Saturday night, which will be a BBQ and Blues feature, as always. Saturday night's entertainment is Chris Brown and the Uptown Blues band featuring the legendary Gary Smith (and Johnny Cat on guitar).

TONIGHT! BBQ & Blues with the Spencer Jarrett Band (feat. Charles Wheal on guitar). A gifted and versatile gospel and blues singer Spencer Jarrett is also an ace harmonica player who has entertained audiences in the SF Bay Area for decades. Don't miss out on the Grand Dell debut of this terrific blues outfil!

TONIGHT! Come on down to the Grand Dell and boogie to the HOTTEST Rockabilly act in the Bay Area - JINX JONES AND THE KING TONES. Jinx is a true force of nature on the electric guitar; you only have to witness one of his live performance to believe it. He guarantees to play the living hell out of it tonight. There's NO COVER for this fantastic show, so you really have no excuse to not be there!

TONIGHT! Prime Rib and .... JAZZ! Yes, you read that right. We've been featuring primo blues acts at the Dell on Wed. nights but tonight we welcome a monster jazz trio featuring Peppe Merolla on drums, Modesto Briseno on trumpet and Brian Ho on Organ. Peppe and Modesto have graced our Thursday night Blues jam session on various occasions in the past, bringing down the house everytime. No cover. 8-11pm. Don't miss out!

TONIGHT! Mitch Polzak & The Royal Deuces return to The Grand Dell Saloon! Founded in 1999, the Royal Deuces have been entertaining folks world wide from International Festivals to private appearances with their distinctive original sound and show. Drawing deep from the traditions of Rockabilly, H***y Tonk, Truck Driving music, Bluegrass, and hot original numbers, the group continues to live up to the saying, "Everything you want and Nothing you don't!" on each live experience.

TONIGHT, we're featuring the charming, soulful and immensely funktastic Adrian Costa as our featured guest at The Grand Dell Saloon Blues Jam. They don't call him the Spanish sensation for nothing! BBQ & Blues TONIGHT with the Westside Shakers! Guitar slinger Eric Selenger has been our house band guitarist on Thursday nights for four years running. Tonight, he makes a spectacular Grand Dell debut with his blues comrades in the Westside Shakers - Sid Morris (piano), Eric Spaulding (sax), Mike Phillips (bass) and Kit Bergman (drums). This band will shuffle up a storm at the Dell, folks, and you do not want to miss out!
