Tonight, some of our ladies had the opportunity to help the Cherokee County Special Olympics Basketball team prep for their state games this weekend! I don't know how much "help" these softball players were, but they had fun! Thanks to Cherokee County Special Olympics, Georgia for letting our ladies come out and work with your ballers!

We are extremely excited to announce the newest addition to our roster - uncommitted 2024 Corner/Utility, Tristan Brady! Tristan brings a very strong arm, bat, and defense to the squad and is sure to make an immediate impact! She comes to us from Creekview High School, where she holds a 4.0 GPA.

So proud of this kid and her recent commitment to further her education and softball career at Truett McConnell University . Abbey, to say that I am proud of you is an understatement. I have had the pleasure of coaching this young lady since she was 8 years old and she was the first kid that I wanted to take with me to travel ball. She has been one of our originals since day one and has been the best teammate throughout the years that any coach could have ever ask for.

This kid is not only one of the hardest working kids that I have ever coached on the field, but she has the biggest heart of any kid that I have had the pleasure to coach.

Truett - McConnell College Softball is not only getting a great athlete, they are getting one of the finest young ladies that I have ever known. It has been my pleasure to coach you over the years and to watch you grow into the young lady that you have become.

I know you will do great things Abbey and I am so excited for you and excited to follow your journey at Truett McConnell University!
