9 years ago Brian gave me a Big Green Egg for m’y Birthday, and last winter its table fell apart rotted. I had to give it a replacement worthy of its greatness, so Epoxy had to be the choice for the top. Here it is ☺️

The poly I had put on this table started to crack from the sun expire so I decided to refinish it and do an Epoxi Table Top on it. I like the result. Hopefully it will last longer!

Today was a challenging day hanging this gate at a customer’s house and I am grateful for Travis (he works for Apex) for his help, knowledge, expertise and talent!

This gate was the hardest one I have made so far: the masons who built the wall made the gate opening totally asymmetrical 🤦‍♀️

So all these gates were made with mortise and tenons. I love that type of joinery, and I finish it by going through the joinery with another tenon so it is for sure secure! In the pictures they are actually square ones! Not easy to make these square wholes, I can tell you!

Than I just have fun, well not that much hahaha! Angles are tricky!

And here came the changing plan: from pine to cedar.
I was asked to make 25 of theses small double walk gates, 3 different widths a d heights!
That’s when I discovered Mortise and Tenons! From there on, all of my decorative gates and work only has mortise and tenons. As long as I was working with cedar, no other joinery was used!
Look at the picture where you see all the different colors cedar offers! Crazy!

You have to have organizational and practical tool stands when you woodwork. Here is my router table stand with drawers and bit organizer.
Planning on making a better one down the road but for now it does the job.

Loft bed with workstations. I actually built them when we were trying to foster to adopt 3 sisters. They all needed beds so I decided to try to make something that would be space efficient.
Bed on top desk and bookshelves underneath.

Catio!!! I have a Siberian cat, he is not allowed outside without supervision. I made him a Catio so he can enjoy the outdoors safely away from predators. He loves it 🥰

Stable for American Girl Dolls or similar dolls!

Simple and pretty desk! I loved finishing it to get that shine, like glass!!

Dog crate, this one is huge! 81” long, 42” high and 32” deep! I can sit straight without ducking and 3 German Shepherd size dogs can sleep on it comfortably!
I think I made some measurements mistakes 🤪🤪
The cats did love it though 🤦‍♀️
