Assessment is the first step in the process to determine if there is a problem and the appropriate plan for treatment. The legal guardian of a minor child, or an adult age 18 or older, requesting services contacts Front Door. An initial screening will be conducted to determine urgency and appropriate next steps. The renovations to the outside of our Belden Office are completed. The office, located at 4641 Fulton Dr, N.W., looks amazing. The upgrades included a new facade to the building, sidewalks and repaving the parking lot. We love the new look!
Our Prevention Team works to empower young adults through evidence-based curriculum. Community Impact Coalition (CIC), Adult Led Prevention, teaches young adults independent living skills to utilize as they transition into adulthood, including goal setting, moving out, effective communication and more.
C&A's staff members celebrated this year's doctoral interns on June 21 at Twisted Olive. This year's class started their internship on July 1, 2023, and will conclude on June 30. The agency enjoyed watching this group learn and grow during the past year and we wish each of them the best in their career journey. We look forward to seeing great things from each one of you! C&A hosted United Way staff and funders yesterday for an onsite tour our Shipley location and learn more how United Way dollars are used to benefit the agency. The United Way funds the agency's Triple P program and After-school programming at the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon and Central YMCA's.
