Happy belated birthday to Rhonda Jones, the outreach coordinator at United Way of Eddy County! May this year bring her joy, success, and fulfillment in all her endeavors. Wishing Rhonda continued success in her efforts to make a positive impact on the community through her work at United Way.
A new year brings endless opportunities to enhance lives in Eddy County. Let's join hands and harness the caring power of our community for a year filled with positive transformations.
Cheers to a joyful New Year! Wishing you all happiness, health, and success in 2024. Please note that the United Way of Eddy County will be closed on New Year's Day, 1/1/24, and will reopen on 1/2/2024. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
We are still going to be continuing our United Way campaign through mid February. (This isn’t a new process- our campaign has historically run through Feb. 14).
As most of you know, this is a massive rebuilding year. The United Way of Eddy County had some pretty big challenges earlier that we’re still working to overcome. Even prior to this year, the agency, and many other nonprofits, struggled to recover from the chaos of COVID.
Consequently, allocations may not reach the level they’ve been in some years past, but I want to let everyone know that we are doing everything in our power to have them be as fair and generous as possible while remaining fiscally solvent as an agency.
Thank you so much for the many generous donations and contributions over the past few months, as well as the written and verbal support. They’ve meant a lot in terms of getting this organization back off the ground and helping others in need. We’ve still got a lot of work left to do to be where we need to be. Our allocations process is the lifeblood for some of our smaller partner organizations in particular. At this point, any contributions you make will allow us to increase what is allocated.
If you know of any organizations or companies willing to do a campaign in January, or anyone interested in an end of this year/start of next year contribution, we’d love to hear from you!
The United Way of Eddy County will be closed for the holidays. Please note that our office will be closed on December 25th and 26th. We look forward to serving you again when we reopen on December 27th. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season filled with love and happiness!
