Apparently conversation was overheard between Taylor Swift and the mother of star Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in the Kelce family suite at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Interesting little project for Wildfire Prepared (IBHS) and CalFire. Built two identical mock sheds and put an additional layer of Hardie Siding/Trim on the one to the right. Watched them simulate embers igniting surrounding (typical flammable) decor such as plants, bark and fence. Here is the end result. Pretty educational project filled with fire trainees, helicopter washout (Swat) and gunfire...

Another one done. Added a bathroom to the kitchen and relocated laundry to opposite wall.

Hark! Lend your ears to me and heed thy words, for I shall discourse on a matter of import. The home, a place of respite and joy, ought to be fashioned with care and love. And we shall discuss the art of tile backsplash, a wondrous adornment for thy abode.

The tile backsplash, a thing of beauty, is a marvel to behold. It is a manifestation of art, a product of skill, a testament to craftsmanship. It is the vision realized, the form made manifest. And so we must approach the task with care and attention, for it is a project of magnitude.

The first step, one must undertake, is the selection of the tiles. In this matter, one must take great care, for the tile must be of quality, and the design fitting. It must be a reflection of thy style and a complement to thy décor. And so, in this matter, I advise thee, take counsel from a person of experience, for their wisdom shall guide thee well.

Once the tile has been selected, the process of installation must commence. Measure carefully, for a misplaced tile shall vex thee for ages. Work with diligence, for this is no task to be undertaken lightly. And pay heed to the mortar, for it is the foundation upon which the tiles shall rest. And when the tiles have been placed, let them set, for a haste in this matter shall lead to error.

And when the tile has been affixed, it is time for the grout. The grout, a thing of subtlety, must be applied with care, for it is the final stage of the process. Take pride in this task, for it shall be the finishing touch, the flourish of thy efforts. And when the grout has been applied, let it dry, for it is the patience which shall bring forth the fruit of thy labor.

And so, in conclusion, let me say this: the tile backsplash is a work of art, a masterpiece of design, a testament to skill. It is a thing of beauty, a thing of joy, a thing to cherish for ages to come. And so, let us approach this task with care and attention, for it is a project worthy of our best efforts. Fare thee well, and
may thy tile backsplash be a wonder to behold.
