Located in Caro Michigan. We have 2 stalls available board is $350 a month. Contact me today and set up your tour. A little about Creekside:
We have 8 boarding stalls so we are are a small farm with a select amount of horses/owners. Currently two stalls are coming available this summer. We strive to maintain a private facility. Horses are rotationally grazed through spring and summer months. Every horse has a stall however we do not stall horses nightly. They are brought in during bad weather and extreme temperatures. We are constantly updating the property. Owners are on sight and check/care for horses multiple times a day. Horses have unlimited access to hay and shelters outside. We have a automatic watering system that allows the horses fresh water in each pasture. We have a 270x70 outdoor arena. Almost competition size. Our indoor arena is large as well. Inside the barn we have a large tack room that is shared among boarders. Horses are provided hay, and grain in their stalls.

Found this interesting!

We have shared this before, but it is always interesting to see how old our horses are in human years...especially as they change.
This week our 26 year old has just been diagnosed with Ring Bone and I was devastated, then I realised that he is "75 1/2 yrs old" so of course he will have some degeneration, but just like my Dad I think he's invincible.💪
Today our youngest horse turns 3...so effectively 18....and we all know about 18 year old males 😂

We will miss you Fynn. I know how much strength it took your momma to make the toughest call any of us have to. You were goofy and adorable 🥰 with the sweetest personality. It is settling to know you are no longer suffering.

Our trail ride today was successful! I was so impressed with Bella and Whiskey when we took them down a trail that ended up turning into a swamp both horses sank so deep I was terrified we weren’t going to make it out. Thankfully both horses remained calm and got us out of there! Needless to say we won’t be exploring like that anymore unless we walk it first to make sure there won’t be any surprises like that.

I think I may have shared this before but oh well. I love mares and will always prefer them to a gelding any day. I have one mare in particular that is very opinionated and I always tell people once she knows you and trusts you she would walk through fire for her person but she won’t do it for just anyone.

Mares aren’t always well liked and for the same reasons strong women aren’t.

Opinionated? Those opinions are not without good cause and maybe you can't figure them out or maybe you just don’t like her opinion of you. Change it and she will always be on your side.

Stubborn? She just won’t let you bulldoze her. Treat her with respect and her resilience will be an asset to you.

Difficult? You just can’t handle her. You don’t have what it takes.

Stick with geldings then, and leave the mare for someone who understands her and appreciates the same qualities society has subtlety taught you not to like.

Here’s to mares, to strong women, and to those who CAN and DO appreciate them!

Helmets are so important for adults and children. You may have the best most bombproof horse around but freak accidents can happen to anyone. 45% of brain injuries happen to equestrians don’t let yourself be a statistic.

Equestrians make up 45% of traumatic brain injuries a year. This is why we have a firm helmet policy in our barn.

Our Story

My story isn’t greatly different from many others. I’m sure you’ve heard a million times that this our dream farm or this is our passion. For me personally, it's a little more unique of a story, and I'll explain why. I was one year old when my mom surprised both my dad and me with my first pony, who also happened to be a year old. Blossom wasn’t a small pony. Really, she was a small horse, but she turned into a fantastic horse for me. In my short 6 years of life on our farm, we owned 4 horses. Riding them or trail riding through woods with my parents is what I remember most. When I was 6 years old, my dad suddenly passed away and our lives were turned upside down. We had to sell all of our animals, get rid of most of our belongings and uproot our entire lives to move into the city to a small apartment. Needless to say, those years were not easy. I begged my mom every year to buy me a horse. Granted, I think she realized why I wanted one so badly. Horses give me a sense of peace and calm. They bring me back to easier times when all that mattered was holding onto the reins. When I get on my horse and we go, I have absolutely no cares in the world and nothing matters but keeping my butt in the seat. So when my husband and I had the chance to have our own place, we jumped at! I want to create a barn where you step out of your vehicle and feel the peace and enjoy the calm; a place where nothing matters but you and your horse. If we can help a select few people enjoy riding their horse and feel the joy I feel every time I step out my door, I’ve done my job. This should be your getaway, not a second job.
