It's that time of year again. We've been doing this for 6 years and this is an all new show with new magic. Every year we set out to do a variety show, similar o the Christmas variety shows on tv in the 80s and 90s. It's an excuse for a bunch of us to get together and play make believe. Give someone a mask and they will show you their real face. I am not the best with photos. And now I have all these photographer friends and/or am invited to these events. I looked up how to pose on the internet because, that's where you go to learn new s**t. This photo session was really quick but actually quite fun. Shout out to Tadeo Paras for the photos. Get me a drink, a table and a deck of cards. I could be in this type of environment for literally hours. It looks like I'm thinking of some crazy spiritual thing or even trying to contact dead people n s**t. But what I'm really thinking about is, what if I could make this card find another card or what if all the cards are blank and i wrote the words Jurassic Park on them and flip them back over and there is a picture of my favorite dinosaur. Brain going a million miles a minute. Magic is fun.

Real talk, when I'm daydreaming, I have Resting Dumb Face. I usually looked spaced out. I think this is is my most natural state. Even though I'm on stage and there are a million things running through my head. My only objective while performing is drawing a reaction out of the audience. Any emotion, but my favorite s**t is to make you laugh. Why do you do what you love?

I feel like lately, I spend most of my life waiting. Waiting for opportunities, waiting for certain road blocks to resolve themselves, waiting on rice to cook. There's a balance of thought between being patient and creating your own opportunities. I don't quite think I have found the balance yet because I tend to overcorrect in the opposite way. I'm still finding it, maybe I never find it, but I'm ok with that too. But forreal, this rice needs to hurry up.

Sometimes things happen that you can't explain or weren't expecting. Dude, I really think this is why live entertainment is so dope. You get to experience an artist working through their s**t live in front of you. It's great on a screen and stories are great when experienced through the screen but damnit there is really something special about being there and experiencing it live.
