All of them handmade, Otomi textiles, colorful ribbons and most of them have their face embroidered by hand.

Welcome to our FB page where you can learn and buy some of this beautiful Mexican dolls which are handmade by otomies artisans who lives in Amealco, a small town in Querétaro (central MEXICO).

They are worldwide famous as a symbol of Mexican culture because of their colorful costumes and the magnificent work of embroidery and textiles used to make them.

Here you can find different members of the “LELE” family: Lele being MOM, GRANDMA, BABY, GIRL, and also her couple JUANITO (Johnny) as a DAD or GRANDPA, BOY or BABY.

We also have some seasonal dolls, like CATRINA LELE, for the “DAY OF THE DEAD” celebration.

We can manage to make a special “character”, if you want to personalize your own doll, for example, we’ve done a couple of Chefs (male and female), regional mexican costumes, etc.

You can collect them as a family, for example like shown in this picture.
