Urgent Cats of Cartersville Georgia

📣Pledgers and supporters, I will no longer be acting as an administrator of this group beginning next week sometime. I joined in May, 2019 with the intent of helping on a temporary basis. Five and a half years later, it’s time to move on to causes and activities closer to home in British Columbia, Canada.

Specifically there is a need for someone to do the pledge round ups. Anyone who has pledged knows what those look like. Pam has pledges organized in a spreadsheet so some of the work is simply “copying and pasting” from the spreadsheet. Regular reminders to pledgers who have not honored are also included in this task.

My hope is that one or more of you will step forward to help. This group will not be able to function without additional volunteer support. Thank you for your support of the cats at Bartow AC.

🆘🆘Five precious cats need pledges to secure rescue from BARTOW AC. Tiny Gizmo is only 5 weeks old. Please help them by pledging and sharing with rescues. 🙏🙏

📣📣Pledgers, we ask for your assistance and cooperation in honoring your pledges to rescues in a timely manner. You will receive a group pm (pledge round up) in Messenger when cats are safe. It will include freedom photos and payment information (PayPal, mailing address and other options when available). Rescues are counting on these funds to care for and provide vet care to the cats/kittens. Betty, Pam and I currently spend many volunteer hours per week performing all the tasks involved in trying to ensure the safety of the thousands of cats and kittens dumped at Bartow AC annually. It is very time consuming to have to send multiple reminder notifications for unpaid pledges. Please keep your own records. We are managing hundreds of pledges every month. Should you experience any unexpected problems in honoring your pledges, please advise us so that we are informed. We do not see what each rescue receives when pledges are honored so please note that you have paid in the group pm. Pledging is a serious commitment to the rescues and the cats. 😸😸Boston and Frito need pledges. Frito is being reposted for pregnancy pledges. Boston was partially funded by transferred pledges but needs a bit more. In addition, a litter of 4-week-old kittens was fully funded by transferred pledges. Thank you for allowing us this flexibility. 🙏🙏
