Georgia Knights plays its home games at Legends Sports Center, 5619 Hwy. 20, Cartersville, Georgia 30121 (across from Cracker Barrel).

SSA announce an expansion into Bartow County with the creation of SSA Cartersville!
The SSA Cartersville program will be created out of a bringing-together of the current Cartersville Clash and Georgia Knights clubs under an SSA umbrella and will be based out of the City of Cartersville-owned Cartersville Soccer Complex. The new program will offer Bartow County residents access to a full range of programs offered by SSA for boys and girls ages 3-19, including Recreational, Academy, and Select leagues, as well as access to additional SSA programs including the elite-level Development Academy, NPL and the summer Super Y league through SSA’s current Atlanta locations.

Hello Knights Family,
Let me start by thanking everyone who has supported the Georgia Knights the last three years. We started with less than 20 and grew to over 250 in just a few seasons, and most of our original members are still with us.
Over this time period, my family has gone from one child to three. Just like my family, my responsibilities of running the club have also grown significantly with the increase in players. My responsibilities included coaching my two teams, lining fields, scheduling referees, securing field space, scheduling games and practices, hiring coaches, recruiting rec coaches, dealing with any and all parental concerns, and ordering uniforms, just to name a few. This had become overwhelming for me.
The Director of Coaching at Souther Soccer Academy approached me about a month ago saying that CLASH and SSA would be merging together into one club, SSA of Cartersville and that SSA will staff and operate it. He asked if I would be interested in merging our Club as well. I thought long and hard, consulted a few people about this decision and then decided it made sense for everyone involved. Effective at the conclusion of this Spring season, Georgia Knights will merge with SSA. I have been offered and accepted a director's position with SSA at their Cartersville location.
What does this mean for your children? Your child will now be playing for SSA of Cartersville instead of the Georgia Knights. Our player pool for recreational, academy, and select teams will now be bigger since the entire community will be united into one club. Hopefully we will have the numbers to have a completely in-house Rec league! We will practice and play the majority of our games at the Cartersville Soccer Complex. I will still be at the fields to coach and assist in any way possible. Registration will be done through the SSA website, and there will be an entire staff of administrators to help with registration as well as uniforms, scheduling, etc. Other than that, very little will change.
This merger will unite the entire soccer community in the Cartersville-Bartow area and beyond. I hope that you will join me in building a quality program and and positive environment at SSA of Cartersville.
