Service is what we do! The ladies of Zeta Amicae of Cary were able to serve the community with joy volunteering at The Carying Place in Cary.

Our Amicae did an amazing job this past weekend co-hosting the NC Zeta Amicae Retreat on the campus of Shaw University!

On March 30th, 2024 Zeta Amicae of Cary celebrated our 2nd Charter Anniversary with a brunch and gift exchange 🩵

Amicae Syreeta McCullers and Alexis Abbott along with Friend Tabitha Lockett attended the 18th Annual Triangle LUNGe Forward Triangle 5K Run, Walk and Celebration. The event is a day of celebration and remembrance while bringing hope to those impacted by lung cancer right here in NC. The walk was held at the Koka Booth Ampitheatre in Cary. Black History Month is an annual observance created in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson that originated as a week-long celebration, coinciding with the birthdays of Fredrick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln.

Over the years, the observance increased in popularity throughout the US; and in 1969, ‘Black United’ students at Kent State University proposed extending the celebration to a month. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to both honor the Extraordinary Black women from our past who have paved the way for progress, and pay tribute to those Finer women who are shaping our future by making history each and everyday!

Join us as we pay homage to our trailblaZers past, present and future and remind the world that Black History is more than just a month. Black History is the world’s history and it should be celebrated everyday throughout the year!

Today we celebrate another path blazed as the first of the Divine Nine organizations to establish an adult auxiliary.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day on October 13th is a time to gain and spread knowledge of what sufferers are up against and how society can help. Amica Kashaka stands with those currently battling a breast cancer diagnosis.
