NCRC Classic Half Marathon and 10K
The NCRC Classic Half-marathon & 10K took place on May 17, 2015 on a beautiful scenic course that runs through Umstead Park. Tentative date is May 22, 2016
The NCRC Classic Half-marathon & 10K Races are now in their 17th year and considered to be some of the Triangle area’s premier distance races. Our Story
The NCRC Classic Half-marathon & 10K Races are now in their 20th year and considered to be some of the Triangle area’s premier distance races.
In previous years, over 1,000 runners have participated in the event which is produced by the North Carolina Roadrunners Club and this year will we be sponsored by Omega Sports.
Some of the proceeds from the race to support several local causes including the Wake County Holiday Cheer Program and The American Red Cross – Triangle Chapter.
This year’s events is part of the Second Empire Grand Prix Race Series hosting some of the area’s best competitive runners (don’t let that discourage those not involved in the SEGP!!!).
