Kuecker Family | We crammed a lot of goodness into our session last night! I am loving the styling we came up with and that little bit of sunshine we had was perfect.

Steimel Family | We may have been drenched in sweat at the end of the session but it was very much worth it.

What does it mean to trust your photographer?
It means you listen to their suggestions for styling. This might mean you’d pick something you wouldn’t normally pick because it’ll benefit the overall outcome. This might mean you should step outside your comfort zone.
This definitely means you go with whatever time they recommend to start for the best lighting, no matter what your normal evening routine looks like. It could mean that they have tons of ideas for locations that they’ve meticulously researched and planned for so you don’t need to worry about that.
It definitely means you should listen during the session and go with their ideas for posing because these are tried and true ideas that will deliver results like the ones you see on their websites.

All of these things are the reason why you hired this person to document your family. If you hire them and then try to change everything they do, you’re going to be extremely disappointed in the results.

Summer session dates are taken but there’s still some Fall dates left!

There are a few dates left for 30 minute sessions before those are completely phased out. If you love those, get one scheduled ASAP.

In addition, I have very few spots left for newborns in Sept/Oct/Nov.

Wirtz Family | one more little babe is being added to this crew! Last night was so beautiful and I can’t wait to share more!

Ann + Dominic | it may have rained up to the 2 minutes before we started shooting but when you drive an hour for the session, you make it happen. And I’m SO glad we did because they’re absolutely beautiful!!

River | 3 weeks new and just the sweetest little thing for me today!

This little cuddle bug was too sweet today! Happy, cuddly and chatty- I’ll take a baby like this any day!!

On top of our planned maternity session, we found a family to photograph on our trip as well! Styling for this large family was so fun and a little outside of my usual palette but it turned out so beautiful!
My checked bag of styled outfits almost didn’t make the flight but thank goodness everything worked out for us.

It’s hard to describe how special this place is.
I knew it would be beautiful but I didn’t expect to be disappointed at how the photos can’t even begin to do it justice. Everywhere you look, it’s incredible views. Sunny skies, insanely beautiful red mountains and layers of beautiful green.

Just wow.

It truly is one of those places that I’d move to. Live a slower paced life. More time outdoors. A whole different lifestyle.

Sedona, I wish I had more time with you but I will be back.

What is Styling and why you should use the Client Closet?! Let’s talk about it!

Styling means that we work together coming up with a color palette, textures, patterns, etc that complement each other but keep you looking like an early 2000’s JC Penny commercial. You can purchase pieces yourself but I highly recommend utilizing the closet!

Why? Because it saves you tons of money and also more importantly your time and sanity!

Normally- the worst part of scheduling family photos is figuring out what you’re going to wear. Not for my sessions. It’s simple and easy and usually does not take long at all. I can typically provide pieces for everyone in the family! This means you can see everything come together in front of your eyes, we can work through any hesitations you have and I can explain why something works better than something else.

It really is a game changer and my clients love it! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
