Today's progress. Every time I finish something my soul needs a break and I always act like its a tragedy and I'm never gonna draw again or something. Drama.
Finally. Turns out all I needed was another cup of coffee.
I still can't draw for whatever reason, so I'm reposting this because it feels a certain way.

We are a non-profit art gallery that charges our artists nothing to display, all ages and styles are accepted to showcase. Every artist is on their own personal journey and in different stages of exploration. We could use your help spreading the word and increasing traffic into our shop. One thing thats gets in my way is my lack of technical skill and training. Everything I make is like pulling teeth and half the time I can't reproduce it the next day if I tried. I just have to wait until I can focus enough again.
But that's kind of what art is i guess. The perfect idea filtered through an imperfect heart.
You have to take risks to move into new creative territory. And making mistakes is an essential part of the process.

Some dandelion studies of varying quality. I don't usually like to show anyone the practice/playing around stuff. But I think maybe people shouldn't be so weird about showing their trash. It really IS an important part of the process. Maybe a little vulnerability isn't such a bad thing.
Still getting the hang of graphite powder. I really like it. I don't like THIS, but I still gotta plaster it all over Facebook.
Turns out you can mix it with acrylic medium and paint with it.
