Why “The Jaye” ? One of the most asked questions so here’s the story 🤗 When johnathan and I found out we were having a baby, we knew pretty early on that we weren’t going to find out the gender. This forced us to come up with both a boy and girl first/middle name. The boy name we were pretty much set on from day one, but the girl name kept changing almost daily 😆 We came to agreement on one and originally the middle name was going to just be the letter “J” for Johnathan and Jordi. As it got closer, I changed my mind on just a letter for a middle name and switched the spelling to Jaye. When trying to come up with a business name, I knew I didn’t want it to do anything with hair, I wanted it to be more unique and sentimental. After attempts of trying to come up with something, The Jaye popped in my head and I loved it so I texted Johnathan asking what he thought and his response was “it’s perfect”. The Jaye was established and if we ever do have a daughter, it’ll be a way to honor her or if we don’t, the name I switched so many times and spent hours trying to think of won’t go to waste 😆 After all, the salon is my baby 💕
