I’ve been so much happier, calmer and at peace since being more intentional about protecting my peace. For me that may mean not being in different environments, not consuming myself with certain things or entertaining people or situations that don’t bring me good vibes and good energy.

It was harder for me at first because the societal expectations and my slight people pleasing tendacies can leave you feeling guilty when you do what’s best for you sometimes but trust me I’m working through it!

When Allyson Felix became pregnant, Nike was prepared to cut the terms of Felix's endorsement by as much as 70% due to the pregnancy, and told her to “know your place and just run.” 🤯

Amid all of this, she was forced to have an emergency c-section seven months into her pregnancy because of a potentially life-threatening condition and her baby had to live for more than a month in the NICU. But two years later she’s qualified for her fifth Olympics with her daughter watching.

Felix dropped Nike and created her own brand of running shoes, the Saysh One. She is currently running in the Olympics in Japan wearing them under the banner “I Know My Place”. 😏

When dealing with acne and inflammation you need the right ingredients and tools 🧰

After your cleansing routine grab an ice cube and rub it over the pimple for 1 to 2 minutes you can use a napkin if it’s too cold for you to hold.

Labor Day originally started as a one-day strike where workers were marching then enjoying a picnic celebration afterwards. The pandemic pushed a lot people into making changes…But I made the move to being home based in 2013 after being mobile and then moving to salon suites but realizing it wasn’t a good fit for me and my small child and moving my business home ended up being a great decision for my family and for my clientele who love the vibe and value the privacy.
