My Wish for You
"We're being bullied by our own unfinished business."
- David Richo
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to anyone who's ever been shocked by the sudden + complete body snatching by our beloved 'triggers' (AKA 'Complexes', in Jungian terms.)
I am a huge believer in good psychoeducation and Richo's work is high on my list.
This book is a catalyst for transformation, and I really don't say that lightly. It is also a robust psychoeducatonal adjunct to EMDR preparation. šÆ
Youāre not lost
You just forgot where you left yourself
In all those other spaces
The ones that arenāt yours
The ones where you forgot yourself
But you can remember
Itās as easy as forgetting
You forgot that too
Itās time to remember
Who you are
What you are
You didnāt come here to play small
You were taught to play small
Usually itās taught through fear
The ānot enoughā infection
A virus that stops life before it starts
The creator of the walking dead
Living in fear
Fear of being seen as ānot enoughā
When you are always enough
Fear of not achieving enough
When āenoughā is always your choice
Fear is just something thatās not real
stopping you from doing
the things that are
So go pick yourself up
From wherever you left yourself behind
In someone elseās game
Instead of your own
Donāt let I canāt do it
or
I canāt have it
be your only answers

Perfect peace all boils down to TRUST. Can we trust God to keep watch through the night? Can we trust that He will stand guard over our people, our person, and our peace? Can we rely on His promises of unfailing love, perfect plans, and eternal redemption of all things?
This is Shalom. This is the peace we crave. Everything else is nothing more than a pricey diversion.

The female body was never supposed to be smooth, firm and flawless. It was designed to create life, to host life, to feed life.
Yes there are many other amazing aspects to us all but underpinning our fight to retain a āfigureā, is a whole network of genetics, science and an entire evolutionary process which wants to create, store and produce fat for protection and hormonal health. If you are losing a battle for slimness, do not for a moment think this is your fault. You are trying to blow away the wind.
Feed yourself well, physically, mentally and spiritually, and then enjoy your life with the vessel you inhabit. Itās a one shot only thing. Peace, laughter and acceptance are the best medicines around.

The journey of healing from our past traumas is ALWAYS an inside job!
It was never about me looking outward - my healing only happened when I stopped turning away from the pain residue and travelled inwards
Itās not been easy!
Itās been challenging, painful, messy, uncomfortable, awkward, uncomfortable but so WORTH it!
I dived deeper inside and unravelled the trauma to discover what blocked me from living authentically and in my flow
Itās never too late to heal from what hurt you and holds you back in order to live your best life
Shutting down emotions can lead to long term serious physical health issues.

Healing From Complex Trauma and Ptsd/cptsd
Their shame is not meant to be yours
It is essential to our journey with Christ that we have a clear, biblical understanding of grace and wrath, and the vital need we have for the Cross. Often, we place a lens on what these words mean, filtered by our life experiences or even how we, as humans, enact those words in our own lives. We are like God, because weāre made in His image, but His ways are higher than our ways, and His definition of these words must become our own. Grace, by Godās definition, is both undeserved love and the power to be transformed. Wrath, as outlined in the Word, is pure and holy, and is the event (not the emotion) of Godās just, corporate judgment on sin. Without these definitions in clear perspective, we can misunderstand God, and the entire Trinity, as though God is an angry father being kept at bay by the Son and Spirit.
Without Godās grace through the work of the Cross, humanity stands judged and without rescue. Without Godās wrath, there will be no end to evil, and the Cross was powerless and pointless. Grace and wrath are eternally combined, so that all might be saved through Jesus; this is the essential core of our faith. When we align our theology to the biblical reality of the Cross and the grace it made available to be free from sin and the event of Godās just, corporate judgment on sin, we cannot help but celebrate and worship, and invite others to the same call to freedom. Thank You, Jesus, for salvation!
Todayās service was filled with power, wisdom, and presence! We worshiped together, celebrated what God is doing in our house and in the world, heard a clarifying and challenging word from Pastor Dann Farrelly, and together, took communion and honored the work of the Cross in our lives. If you missed it, you can watch it on Bethel.TV or on YouTube.
And this goes for all human beings
When we all do the work that needs to be done to heal and empower ourselves, reach out to others in need and find a purpose that somehow serves the good of all, we contribute to positive evolution
In a world where so much chaos, pain and unawareness keep us away from our connection with Spirit, we can BE the change
When you have big feelings, you're not childish, youāre not second rate and you are not a liability.
We need your feelings, your emotions, your humanity.
We need you as you are.
We need you to show up to the table with your full capacity.
We need you to really believe that you are beloved, that there's nothing to fix, and that your whole self is welcome.

Whether our misguided pursuits involve a string of failed relationships, public rejection, or some other failure, each one of us has made a few bad decisions in our quest to quench our dogged thirst. Time and again, we run to the wrong wells, looking for satisfaction. Jesus meets us even there.
Heck yes!
A tighter grip wonāt deliver what we want. The only way you and I can loosen our handsā grip on the temporal things of life is to hold on to Jesus most of all. When He is the object of our greatest affection, we can release the other parts of our lives to Him. And when we loosen our grip on lesser loves, we will discover a new core strength.
