Hey y'all!
I'm Betsy Catelyn! I am one half of The Nerdy Crafter Girls!
So a bit about me . . . .
• I am a dog mom - Adamantium (a.k.a. Boba) and Emerson Eloise.
• I am a VERY proud aunt to four niblings (yes, it’s a word) - two beautiful nieces and two brilliant nephews.
• I LOVE to create - like ANYTHING. I paint, crochet, knit. cross-stitch, sculpt . . . pretty much all the things.
• I like coffee just as much as a good beer.
• I am definitely a HUGE nerd – I love Disney, Star Wars, the entire horror genre, The Office, Schitt’s Creek.
• I collect the most random things – POP figures, coffee cups, and snowglobes.

I am so stoked to embark on this new adventure with my my soul sister Erica! When we first met we knew right away we’d be inseparable from then on! We joke all the time we’re the same person in two bodies - the perfect compliment to each other!

First up - here’s ERICA!!!

HI! My name is Erica and 17 years ago i married my High School sweetheart and we have been together for 21 years and we have a 16 year old boy. We also have 3 cats, 2 crazy Corgis, and a taileless Black Lab. 5 of the 6 of my furbies are named after Game Of Thrones Characters from being an OG GOT lover from the books. I love to read, and I LOVE to create! Crafting is my outlet! I'm a complete nerd and adrenaline ju**ie. If I'm not in the gym working out or running an obstacle course, you will find me either making ridiculous videos of my cats or in my craft room! I'm an ADHD Introvert, and I'm all over the place a million miles an hour. I also love to sing, but I feel sorry for anyone who has to listen to me. I'm also an empath whom feels way too deeply and feel kindness is free, and mean spirited people, or those who treat others as if they are beneath them are the scum of the Earth...I said what I said! My favorite food is sushi, and I'm lame and prefer water to any other beverage. I grew up a military brat so I'm well traveled and enjoy learning about other cultures and beliefs. I believe in God, but also believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So I'm non- judgmental of peoples life choices (as long as it doesn't involve violence or harm towards Children, Women or animals) I've been told my whole life that I'm an anomaly. My husband says I walk into a room and immediately become the center of attention, even though I would prefer no one to notice or acknowledge my existence. I'm pretty much an open book, so ask me what you will (as long as it's appropriate) I look forward to creating with my bestie, my Mac to my cheese, my peas to my carrots, my soul sister, Catelyn! I look forward to this journey we are on with all of you!!!

The Nerdy Crafter Girls are Erica and Catelyn (Betsy to some) - two best friends that are OBSESSED with creating! We make lots of different things and are working hard to get inventory built up and ready to show off. While we continue to prepare for our BIG LAUNCH - please invite your friends, family, and anyone else who might be interested to like the page to see everything we have to offer.

Over the next few days Erica and Catelyn will take time to introduce themselves and give you a peek into who we are as women, friends, and restless creatives!
