POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing power assisted assembly operations on high speed lining machines and monitoring production runs/orders through the molding machines, checking for quality, and maintaining a clean work area throughout the facility.
Functions:
Utilizes a variety of instruments such as calipers, air hoses, and picks.
Operates power-assisted machinery to assemble components (caps, lining and spouts).
Visually inspects parts/assemblies for defects.
Properly marks all scrap boxes.
Responsible for changing lining rolls when empty or the job order changes.
Attends up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.
Operate and monitor grinders and presses ensuring the product is manufactured in accordance with specifications, schedules and deadlines.
Hygrade molded product for defects and perform quality checks.
Grinds runners and checks cappers for runners.
Cleans tracks, bowls, conveyors and upright conveyors as necessary.
Ensures rejected and accepted product is separated.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior Injection molding experience
· 2 years machine operating experience preferably in high speed assembly and injection molding machines.
· Ability to take instruction both verbally and in writing.
· Attention to detail
· Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting with mold configurations, pin changes, seal changes and preventative maintenance.
FUNCTIONS:
Disassembly includes moving the molds, taking apart the plates and components and ensuring that all parts are cleaned before reassembling. Cleaning the parts also includes sandblasting and lubricating.
Responsible for the cleaning of parts utilizing a solvent. Also responsible for following the preventative maintenance program. The program includes disassembly and cleaning of parts/molds/components. Cleans parts, protects from damage and stores in correct drawers.
Performs general housekeeping duties including but not limited to sweeping and trash removal, cleaning plastic from molds and equipment cleaning. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear.
When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.
Requires: Strong mechanical ability, Attention to detail, Ability to multi task. Prefer blueprint reading experience.

Position Summary: Repair injection molds, and machine components used in the manufacture of Silgan Slatersville, LLC products. Functions: As required, works with blueprints, verbal instructions in developing appropriate tools designs. Works to close tolerances on the majority of work assignments. The Moldmaker repairs a wide variety of molds using basic machine shop equipment. In performing assigned duties, utilizes a variety of measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, and calipers. Responsible for performing visual inspections therefore ensuring tools/parts produces are in conformance with quality requirements. Makes and maintains injection molds. Maintains and repairs Toolroom machines. Disassemble, clean and evaluate repairs as necessary. Performs general housekeeping duties including, but not limited to sweeping and trash removal, cleaning plastic from molds and equipment cleaning. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear. In performing assigned duties, walking, standing, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching and lifting are all required motions and actions of the job. Position Summary: PM Technician will work as a team member to support operations automation PM system, cell setup, basic ancillary repair, grinder/material loading support and maintenance in a fast paced injection molding environment. Automation PM Technician position will be expected to learn the operation, setup and planned maintenance of grinders, material loaders, conveyors, robotics, cameras, lining machines, and assembly machines and any support equipment assigned. Support all safety initiatives and maintain department MSDS system.
Functions:
Planned Maintenance performed on a scheduled basis in accordance with the paper pm system and the Cell Monitoring electronic system. Follows scheduled maintenance and is flexible in its completion in line with the scheduling of production runs. Maintain clear comprehensive PM records as needed by following Proper Documentation Practices.
Setup and change over automation in cells or standalone. Position is required to learn the basic setup of robotics, automation cells, lining machines, assembly machines and standalone automation equipment. Be able to follow instruction both verbal and written for equipment changeover for several product lines.
Repair and basic trouble shooting skills are expected. Has a basic knowledge of safety circuits, plus overload circuits for assistance in the diagnosis of machine trouble areas. Automation PM Tech will have a basic mechanical understanding of grinders, loaders, and automation equipment. Has a basic knowledge of fabrication with Lexan, metals and alloys. Utilizes a variety of equipment such as hand held, vertical and band saws, lathes and assorted grinders. Has the ability to learn the utilization of sheers and breaks used in the forming of metal and fastening techniques including screws, threaded inserts.

Functions: Responsibilities include attending up to five presses, two assembly machines and two lining machines depending on production schedules and manufacturing requirements. Check all molded product hourly for any defects. Report defects to Team Leader/Quality Processor for correction and problem solving. Change lining rolls as needed. Clean track, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyor as necessary. Hy-grade product for defects and perform hourly quality checks. Performs quality validations a minimum of once per shift and logs any issue in the machine logbook. Monitor hourly production, abnormalities and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). Verify box weights a minimum of once per shift. Make boxes, complete labels, label boxes, build finished goods skids and ensure rejected and accepted product is labeled and separated. Inventory tracking utilizing RF scanners. Responsible for cleaning area ensuring a safe work environment. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal. When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This primary responsibility of this position is locating, labeling, and mailing samples to companies as requested by Sales via Goldmine. Processes UPS & Fed Ex shipments through UPS & Fed Ex software/online database. Assists Shipping Department, as needed and as time permits.
FUNCTIONS:
Receives sample requests through Goldmine from Customer Service and Outside Sales team with appropriate information needed. Retrieves samples from shop floor and all inventory locations. Assembles sample cases. Responsible for mailing requests such as distributor price list, brochures, and specification sheets. Responsible for inspecting sample caps for any defects previous to shipment. Assembles two-piece closures and lines closures with appropriate liner, if requested. Maintains inventory in stock room to fill samples as needed. Request supplies such as mailers, tape description labels, and bags. Labels all sample packages and prepares sample for shipment via US Mail or UPS/Fed Ex as per the customer’s request. Weighs, stamps, and places the package in designated location to be sent. Delivers to Post Office as necessary. Processes shipment requests through UPS software and Fed-Ex online database.
Obtains color chips and/or correspondence from Sales to send to customers, when combined with samples.
Makes and receives phone calls. Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.
When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
Assists the Shipping Department with various miscellaneous tasks, as needed and as time permits.
Assists in the assembly of customer mailings, as needed by Sales
