🌞🌑 Partial Solar Eclipse Today - start time is estimated for 12:30pm 🌑🌞 🔆 A partial solar eclipse will grace our skies today! Hopefully the clouds will clear, so we can see it. While it's a mesmerizing sight, it's essential to enjoy it safely to protect your eyesight. Here are some crucial safety tips: 1️⃣ Use proper eye protection: Never look directly at the sun during an eclipse without certified solar viewing glasses or solar filters. Regular sunglasses won't suffice! 2️⃣ Projection method: Safely observe the eclipse by projecting the image of the sun onto a surface using a pinhole projector or other projection methods. 3️⃣ Digital viewing: Livestreams and broadcasts will provide a safe way to watch the eclipse if you don't have proper viewing equipment. 4️⃣ Be cautious with cameras: If you're photographing the eclipse, ensure your camera has a solar filter to prevent damage to both the camera and your eyes. Remember, safety first! Enjoy the eclipse responsibly and share this message to spread awareness. Let's all marvel at the wonders of the cosmos safely together! 🌌✨

Chadron Community Hospital Rehabilitation Services utilizes the Chadron Area Aquatics & Wellness Center to provide personalized and individualized therapy services. Patients are able to access the therapy pool by ramp, and the water is usually kept around 91-93 degrees. Our department provides one-on-one individualized treatments with a skilled therapist, with each session lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. Anyone is eligible to start aquatic therapy after receiving an initial evaluation with a therapist to discuss the plan of care and the person’s condition and needs. Most insurances cover aquatic therapy, but you will need an aquatic therapy script from your doctor to get it approved. Water has hydrostatic pressure, which is known to decrease inflammation and increase circulation. Water also decreases soreness of muscles and improves flexibility and mobility. The buoyancy in water during aquatic therapy decreases weight on joints, allowing almost pain-free motion. We are able to work on fall prevention and balance issues without the risk of injury. We are available to see anyone, from athletes and kids to older adults, with symptoms of pain, weakness, injuries, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, post-surgical, and more. Our Home Health & Hospice team also honors Veteran’s service by performing a Pinning Ceremony, and presenting them with an Honored Veteran Pin and Certificate.
