These treasures just arrived at our shoppe at 1833 Schiers Market! This handpainted mushroom cutie 🍄 is an old hatpin holder 👒 made in Japan, probably on the 50s. It still has the maker's label on it (Dee Bee Co) and seems to be in near-perfect condition. Didn't they make the sweetest things back then? 🥰 I got 2 sets of brass candleholders but decided to keep the taller ones because they fit well in a spot on a dresser in my living room, but I also love this shorter (roughly 6"), curvy set that was pretty tarnished, dirty, and just plain dingy when I got them. So...I got to work cleaning and restoring them to make them shine without sacrificing their vintage character and patina. 🕯 😍 I also shared some photos below of the tall ones I kept just because I like them so much! 🥰 Stop in and see our shoppe in Chambersburg, open 10-5 daily.
