Art Shack PA

Hello friends! We know we have been missing in action…life got a bit busy for us but we are back for the month of March! We plan to set up this Sunday, March 5th, from 12pm-3pm. We have lots of supplies still to give out but would be so happy to receive some more donations to freshen up what we have. You may drop off the donations to the Falafel Shack, or message us to arrange something. If you’d like to help set up, or tear down, we would be happy to have you, too! We look forward to seeing you!❤️💙💜💛💚🧡

We have some awesome volunteers helping make Art Grab Bags! We will be downtown tomorrow for Old Market Day giving away these surprise bags to help you get creative this summer! We have a limited supply so come and find us !

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Keith Haring!! This Pennsylvania artist/activist is known for knocking the art world off its pedestal by insisting on making art that was accessible and affordable for many people. Unfortunately Keith left us way too soon and would have turned 64 today. So go outside today with some chalk and make some street art in memory of Keith!

We had a great time at Scotland Elementary’s Art show and had a blast meeting so many young artists! We are one week away from our next event on May1st which means we have one week for you to help us restock The Shack!

I can’t believe it’s almost time for our next event!! Thanks to some financial donations we were able to buy some brand new supplies to add to our stash! Thank you to everyone who has also been bringing in their donations of gently used supplies to !

One of our favorite parts about our first Art Shack event was seeing people use their supplies to make art with us! We gave away a lot of supplies so don’t forget to visit if you like to donate some supplies.

¡Bienvenidos al Shack de Arte! Estamos buscando donaciones de materiales de arte usados delicadamente o nuevas para dárselos a la comunidad GRATUITAMENTE.
Acompáñanos el primer domingo de cada mes mientras establecemos el Shack de Arte arribe del comedor del Falafel Shack. How many of you have beautiful, underused art supplies in your home, supplies you would love to learn how to use or gently used materials you would be happy to pass along to someone else? We are thrilled to announce the opening of a new community art project dedicated to art education, collaboration, and the beauty of sharing.

Welcome to The Art Shack! We are looking for donations of new and gently used art supplies to be given to out to the community for FREE.
Join us the first Sunday of each month as we set up The Art Shack in the upstairs dining room of The Falafel Shack. Along with free art supplies, we will also have artists there to answer questions about the supplies.
The Art Shack will be open to EVERYONE and we can not wait to meet more of our community.

Please look for our colorful ART SHACK donation box by the register at The Falafel Shack the next time you’re dining with them or reach out to us here and on Instagram (.shackpa) to find out how to donate if you are not local.
